Rams' Nate Landman: Limited to start week
Landman (ankle) logged a limited practice Wednesday, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Landman has been a major contributor in the middle of the Rams' linebacker corps, logging at least 90 percent of defensive snaps in every game. He apparently suffered the injury at some point during Los Angeles' Week 5 loss to San Francisco, making his status unclear for Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Rams' Nate Landman: Career-high 14 tackles vs. Niners
Landman registered 14 tackles (eight solo) and three pass defenses during the Rams' 26-23 overtime loss to the 49ers on Thursday.
Landman was all over the field in Thursday's loss, playing 90 snaps (82 on defense, eight on special teams) while leading the Rams in total tackles, solo tackles and pass defenses. Landman saw his playing time fluctuate in 2024 with the Falcons, but he has played at least 90 percent of the Rams' defensive snaps in each of the first five games of the regular season and has emerged as a key piece to the defense. Landman left Saturday's training camp practice due to a calf injury, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
The severity of the injury was downplayed by head coach Sean McVay, so it doesn't appear to be a serious issue for Landman. He signed a one-year contract with the Rams in March and is slated to start at inside linebacker alongside Omar Speights. The Rams' first preseason game takes place Saturday against the Cowboys, and if Landman is unable to play, Troy Reeder and Chris Paul would be the top candidates to operate with the first-team defense.

Specifically, Landman has been wearing the green dot for the Rams as the team's defensive play caller, so he appears locked into a starting gig.
