Jackson (hip) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Bengals, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
After a pair of limited practices to start the week, Jackson got in a full session Friday. With Harrison Smith (illness) questionable, Jackson could again be looking at a full complement of snaps versus Cincinnati.

Jackson recorded nine tackles (five solo) and one fumble recovery in the Vikings' loss to the Falcons on Sunday night.
Harrison Smith (illness) missed his second straight game to open the season, so Jackson made another start next to Josh Metellus on the back end of the Minnesota defense. After two games, Jackson has logged 13 tackles (eight solo) and one fumble recovery on 97 percent of the defensive snaps.

Jackson started at safety opposite Josh Metellus with Harrison Smith out with an illness and played on all of the defense's 67 snaps. He struggled a bit in the passing game, allowing two completions on three targets for 43 yards, according to Pro Football Focus. He could return to a reserve role once Smith is healthy.

Vikings' Theo Jackson: Extends contract
Jackson agreed to a two-year, $12.6 million extension Thursday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
A sixth-round pick by the Titans back in 2022, Jackson has flourished in Minnesota of late. Primarily a special teams player the past two seasons, the 26-year-old recorded 17 total tackles and one interception with Minnesota in 2024 and could see more playing time with both starting safeties, Harrison Smith and Camryn Bynum, unrestricted free agents this offseason.

Jackson recorded four total tackles (two solo) and one interception in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Seahawks.
With Harrison Smith (foot) sidelined for the Vikings' Week 16 contest, Jackson stepped in and served as the Vikings' top free safety Sunday. The Tennessee product came up with a clutch interception late in the fourth quarter, sealing Minnesota's 13th win of the season. Smith is expected to return for the Vikings' Week 17 matchup against the Packers, so Jackson is likely to revert to his reserve role.

Jackson missed the final two games of 2023 with a toe issue, but he appears to have fully recovered from the injury and was participating in drills Tuesday with fellow safeties Harrison Smith and Josh Metellus. Jackson logged 381 snaps -- 123 on defense, 258 on special teams -- over 15 games last season, recording 21 tackles (14 solo) and one interception. He re-signed with Minnesota on a one-year, $985,000 contract in February.

The Vikings re-signed Jackson (toe) on Wednesday.
Jackson was set to be an exclusive rights free agent this offseason, but he quickly came to terms on a new deal with the Vikings to keep him in the fold for 2024. The 2022 sixth-round pick played in 15 games for Minnesota last season, logging 126 snaps on defense and another 260 on special teams and finishing with 21 tackles (14 solo) and one interception. He missed the final two games of 2023 with a toe injury, but the health concern doesn't look to be anything that will threaten his availability for training camp.
