Princeton Fant: Joins practice squad in Dallas
Fant was signed to the Cowboys' practice squad Wednesday.
Fant went unclaimed on waivers after being let go Tuesday, and he will now stick around Dallas as a member of the practice squad. The tight end appeared in eight regular-season contests with the Cowboys in 2024, and he'll provide the team with an additional experienced depth option this season.

Fant (calf) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Joe Hoyt of AllDLLS.com reports.
Fant was unable to play in Week 17 against the Eagles due to a calf injury. He was limited in Wednesday's walkthrough, but his ability to practice in full Thursday indicates that he is on track to play in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Commanders.
