Seahawks' Riq Woolen: Remains limited Thursday
Woolen (concussion) was a limited participant at practice Thursday, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Woolen has now logged back-to-back limited practices to open the week after suffering a concussion in the team's Week 5 loss to the Buccaneers. The cornerback remains in concussion protocol, and he'll have one more chance to log a full practice before Sunday's matchup with Jacksonville.

Woolen (concussion) turned in a limited practice Wednesday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Woolen suffered a concussion in Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay, so any involvement in practice is positive. Per Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic, Woolen was seen stretching during the portion of practice open to the media, though it's unclear what else he was able to do. Even if Woolen can upgrade to a full practice session, he'll need to clear the league's concussion protocol in order to be active in Week 6 against the Jaguars.

Woolen exited from Seattle's final game of the 2024 season early with an injury to his ribs, but he now appears to be fresh for offseason workouts. Entering the final year of his rookie contract, he's already established himself as a reliable starter, missing just three games over three seasons. The Seahawks didn't add any competition at cornerback during the draft, so in 2025, Woolen projects to again be a strong second option at corner behind 2023 first-rounder Devon Witherspoon.
