Thayer Munford: Added to Browns' practice squad
The Browns signed Munford to their practice squad Wednesday, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports.
This will be Munford's second stint with Cleveland, as he was signed off New England's practice squad in September. He was inactive for the three games while on the active roster before being waived earlier this week.

Munford was waived by the Browns on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Munford was signed by the Browns off New England's practice squad in late September, but he will now hit the open market again. The offensive lineman has plenty of experience in his three-year NFL career, and he'll likely find a new home in the near future.

Browns' Thayer Munford: Signed by Cleveland
The Browns signed Munford off the Patriots' practice squad Wednesday.
The Ohio State product joined the Patriots' practice squad in late August but has since found a new home in Cleveland. Munford appeared in 46 games for the Raiders since entering the NFL in 2022, making 18 starts. He's now expected to serve as a depth piece on the Browns' offensive line.

Munford returned to the field with his right finger taped after practice. This comes after he already suffered a left hand injury earlier in camp. While the injury does not sound serious for the team's starting right tackle, it is something to monitor going forward.
