Colton Dowell: Cut from Baltimore's practice squad
The Ravens cut Dowell (undisclosed) from the practice squad with an injury settlement Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Dowell joined the Ravens' practice squad Monday, but he will no longer be a part of the organization after being let go Saturday. The nature and severity of his injury isn't clear, but once he's fully healthy, Dowell will look to join a team in need of extra help on special teams and at wide receiver.

Colton Dowell: Let go by Tennessee
The Titans waived Dowell on Friday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Dowell was sidelined for the entire 2024 season after rupturing his ACL against the Texans in late December of 2023. He was cleared to participate in OTAs and minicamp, but he will not be a part of the Titans' roster in training camp and will explore his next opportunity if he clears waivers. The 2023 seventh-rounder appeared in 10 regular-season games in his rookie year and caught one pass on two targets for three yards while mostly serving on special teams.

Titans' Colton Dowell: Participating in OTAs
Dowell (knee) was an active participant in Tennessee's OTAs on Tuesday.
Dowell was sidelined for the entirety of last season after tearing his ACL and meniscus in Week 17 of the 2023 the campaign but is healthy again. The 2023 seventh-round pick saw limited action offensively during his rookie campaign, as he caught just one pass for three yards and saw the majority of his playing time on special teams. Dowell will likely have a similar role during the upcoming season should he make the team's final roster.

Titans' Colton Dowell: Limited in practice Thursday
Dowell (knee) was a limited practice participant Thursday.
After being designated for return from the PUP list Dec. 16 and having his 21-day evaluation window opened, Dowell was a limited participant in six straight practices before upgrading to full participation Wednesday. He was unable to repeat full participation a day later, however, which could hurt his chances of being available to play in Sunday's season finale versus the Texans. The Titans will have to activate Dowell from the PUP list by Saturday in order for him to be eligible to suit up in Week 18.

Titans' Colton Dowell: Won't return Week 17
Titans head coach Brian Callahan said Tuesday that Dowell (knee) won't be activated from the PUP list in advance of Sunday's game in Jacksonville, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site.
Dowell has spent the entire season on the reserve/PUP list after tearing the ACL and meniscus in his right knee in Week 17 of the 2023 campaign and undergoing surgery. The wideout was cleared to resume practicing Dec. 16, but he was a limited participant throughout the past week. Callahan said that Dowell still has an outside chance of playing in Week 18 against the Texans, but the 22-year-old will almost certainly need to resume practicing in full before being activated.
