The wide receiver was removed from the Bills' injured reserve after reaching an injury settlement with the team in August. Thompson played his last collegiate season in 2022 and has yet to appear in an NFL regular-season game.

Bryan Thompson: Reaches injury settlement
Thompson (hamstring) was removed from the Bills' injured reserve Thursday after the two sides reached an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Thompson sustained a hamstring injury in Buffalo's preseason opener against Chicago. Now that he's reached an injury settlement, he'll be able to join another team once he is healthy.

Thompson (hamstring) reverted to IR on Wednesday after going unclaimed on waivers, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.
Thompson was waived/injured by the Bills on Tuesday, and barring an injury settlement, he's now positioned to spend the entire 2024 season on IR. Coach Sean McDermott described the depth wideout as week-to-week due to a hamstring issue sustained in Buffalo's preseason opener.
