Eagles' E.J. Jenkins: Signed to Eagles' active roster
The Eagles signed Jenkins from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.
Jenkins had already been elevated from the Eagles' practice squad three times this season, the maximum a team is allowed to do so for any given player. Jenkins' signing to the active roster was necessitated by the Eagles being expected to place Dallas Goedert on injured reserve Saturday due to a knee injury. Goedert is expected to be back for the playoffs, but while he is sidelined, Jenkins will serve as Philadelphia's No. 3 tight end behind Grant Calcaterra and C.J. Uzomah, starting with Sunday's game against the Panthers.

E.J. Jenkins: Back to practice squad
Jenkins reverted to the Eagles' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
The tight end played on 11 of 79 offensive snaps in Philadelphia's 28-23 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. Grant Calcaterra (73 snaps) and Jack Stoll (31 snaps) ranked ahead of Jenkins on the tight-end depth chart with Dallas Goedert (hamstring) and Albert Okwuegbunam (abdomen) still out. Jenkins also played eight snaps on special teams but did not record a stat.

Eagles' E.J. Jenkins: Elevated for Week 9
The Eagles elevated Jenkins from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Chris McPherson of the team's official site reports.
It's the third and final time Jenkins can be elevated by the Eagles this season, and Philadelphia would have to sign the 26-year-old tight end to the active roster following Sunday's game. With Dallas Goedert (hamstring) and Albert Okwuegbunam (abdomen) yet to return from IR, Jenkins will serve as the Eagles' No. 3 tight end behind Grant Calcaterra and Jack Stoll.

Jenkins reverted to the Eagles' practice squad Tuesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Jenkins was elevated to the active roster to face Atlanta on Sunday night, after having been previously brought up to take on Green Bay in Week 1. He mostly contributed on special teams in those games, combining for just five offensive snaps (no targets) in both contests.

Jenkins was with the Eagles' active roster in Week 1 as well, playing 10 total snaps (three offensive and seven on special teams) and failing to record a stat in his regular-season debut. Jenkins was elevated from the practice squad for Friday's game against the Packers to provide depth at tight end behind Dallas Goedert and Grant Calcaterra. Jenkins ended up playing 10 snaps (three on offense, seven on special teams), but did not accrue a catch. He can be brought up by the Eagles from the practice squad two more times this season before he would have to be signed to the active roster.

Jenkins was waived by the Eagles on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Jenkins spent time on Philadelphia's practice squad last season and re-signed with the team in January. The Georgia Tech product was expected to have a legitimate chance to make the 53-man roster but will ultimately fall just short. He should garner interest from other teams, according to Garafolo.
