Justin Hardee: Let go by Tennessee
The Titans released Hardee (undisclosed) on Friday with an non-football injury designation, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Hardee contributed exclusively on special teams (184) across his nine regular-season appearances with Tennessee in 2024. The veteran re-signed with the team early April, but he appears to have since picked up an injury, leaving him among the Titans' roster cuts leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft.

Titans' Justin Hardee: Could return Sunday
Hardee (groin) is questionable to play in Sunday's Week 12 game against Houston, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Hardee missed last Sunday's matchup against Minnesota due to a groin issue and sat out Tennessee's first two practices this week. However, he was able to log a limited practice Friday, giving him a chance to suit up against the Texans. Hardee's return would mostly affect the Titans' special-teams unit, as he's yet to play a defense snap over two contests with the team.

Hardee (groin) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against Minnesota.

Justin Hardee: Cut by Browns
Hardee was released by the Browns on Tuesday.
Hardee compiled 11 total tackles (eight solo) with the Browns in the preseason, but he ultimately didn't do enough to earn a spot on the team's initial 53-man roster. The cornerback has appeared in at least 10 games in each of his seven prior NFL seasons and will likely find another opportunity elsewhere in the near future.

Hardee signed a one-year contract with the Browns on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Hardee has been a special teams contributor for the Jets each of the past seasons and made a Pro Bowl appearance in 2022. Considering he's only played one defensive snap in the last three seasons, he'll likely fill the same role in Cleveland.

Jets' Justin Hardee: Comes off IR
The Jets activated Hardee (hamstring) to their active roster Saturday.
Hardee has appeared in just five games for New York this season, but it now seems as if he's completely moved past his hamstring issue. The 29-year-old cornerback was selected to the Pro Bowl as a special-teamer in 2022, and he's expected to help fortify the Jets' special teams unit for the remainder of the season.
