Texans' Arthur Maulet: Signs one-year deal with Houston
Maulet (calf/knee) signed a one-year contract with the Texans on Monday, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
Maulet was limited to three regular-season appearances with the Ravens in 2024 due to injuries but has regained health and joined the Texans for training camp. The veteran cornerback has 85 games of regular-season NFL experience under his belt.

Arthur Maulet: Cut by Baltimore
Maulet was released by the Ravens on Tuesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Maulet will hit the open market after being limited to just three regular-season games in 2024 due to knee and hamstring injuries, compiling five total tackles (four solo) in those contests. The cornerback will turn 32 years old this offseason and he'll likely operate in a depth role with his next team.

Maulet (calf/knee) racked up five tackles (four solo) across three regular-season appearances with Baltimore. He finished the year on IR due to a hamstring injury.
Maulet has one more year remaining on this deal with the Ravens, though the team has a potential 'out' in his deal this offseason. The 31-year-old veteran's health will be a key factor in determining his tenure with Baltimore heading into the 2025 campaign. He began the 2024 season on IR due to a knee injury, then managed only three appearances before returning to the injured reserve list with knee and calf issues. Baltimore placed Maulet (calf/knee) on injured reserve Saturday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Maulet has missed the Ravens' last two games due to calf and knee injuries, and now that he's on injured reserve, he'll be required to miss at least the next four games, making Week 18 against the Browns on Sunday, Jan. 5 the earliest he could return. Tre'Davious White and Jalyn Armour-Davis could see some snaps at the slot corner behind Marlon Humphrey in Maulet's absence.

Maulet will miss a third straight game due to a calf injury, and he appears to also be working through a knee injury as of late.
