Jaguars' Tim Patrick: Secures first TD of 2025
Patrick caught his lone target for a 26-yard touchdown during Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Seahawks.
The veteran wideout was once again minimally involved in Jacksonville's passing game, but he took advantage of his lone target for his first touchdown of the campaign. Patrick has received exactly one target in five straight contests and doesn't have much fantasy utility in his current role as a depth receiver.

Jaguars' Tim Patrick: Just one catch vs. San Francisco
Patrick caught his only target for minus-1 yard in Sunday's 26-21 win over the 49ers.
Patrick operated as Jacksonville's No. 5 wideout once again Sunday, playing just 19 offensive snaps. The veteran wide receiver has now caught two of his three targets for 15 yards over four games this season. He's likely to remain a depth option in the Jaguars' wide-receiver corps in a Week 5 matchup against the Chiefs.

Jaguars' Tim Patrick: Quiet in Week 3
Patrick caught his only target for 16 yards during Sunday's 17-10 win over the Texans.
The 31-year-old wideout from Utah has seen his snap share rise each week in Jacksonville, playing a season-high 21 offensive snaps Sunday. However, Patrick still operated as the team's No. 5 wide receiver and saw just one target, suggesting he's a minimal part of the offensive gameplan. He's expected to continue playing behind Brian Thomas, Travis Hunter, Dyami Brown (shoulder) and Parker Washington in a Week 4 matchup against the 49ers.

Jaguars' Tim Patrick: Fills depth role in Jags debut
Patrick didn't receive a target during Sunday's 26-10 win against the Panthers.
The 31-year-old was acquired by the Jaguars in late August and played seven offensive snaps in his team debut, which ranked fifth among Jacksonville's wideouts. Patrick delivered back-to-back seasons of 700-plus receiving yards with Denver in 2020 and 2021, but after a couple lost seasons due to injuries, he had a lesser role in Detroit last year and appears poised to work as more of a reserve wideout for Jacksonville in 2025.

Jaguars' Tim Patrick: Traded to Jacksonville
The Lions are trading Patrick to Jacksonville for a sixth-round pick, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
This seemingly clears the way for rookie Isaac TeSlaa to become Detroit's No. 3 receiver after scoring three touchdowns during the preseason. Patrick, meanwhile, likely will start off fifth on Jacksonville's depth chart at wide receiver behind Brian Thomas, Travis Hunter, Dyami Brown and Parker Washington.

Lions' Tim Patrick: Staying in Detroit
Patrick re-signed with Detroit on Friday.
The Lions signed Patrick to their practice squad in August, shortly after he was released by the Broncos. He ended up handling the No. 3 receiver role for most of the season, catching 33 of 44 targets for 394 yards and three TDs in 16 regular-season games. A return to mainstream fantasy relevance is highly unlikely for the 31-year-old, but he should at least compete for the third or fourth WR spot in Detroit again.
