The Raiders signed Kalis (concussion) to the practice squad Wednesday.
Kalis appeared in just three games for the Browns in 2018. Now fully recovered from his concussion, the 25-year-old center will look to make the most of his opportunity on Oakland's practice squad.

Kyle Kalis: Waived by Browns
Kalis (concussion) received an injury settlement after being waived by Cleveland on Wednesday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
A season ago, Kalis appeared in just three games with the Browns, so suffice to say, he wasn't expected to play a very meaningful role for Cleveland in 2019. Assuming he goes unclaimed on waivers, the 25-year-old center will be free to sign with any team once he receives a clean bill of health.

Browns' Kyle Kalis: Suffers head injury
Kalis suffered a concussion during Thursday's preseason game against the Redskins, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Kalis will now have to pass through the league's concussion protocol before he can be cleared to return to team activities. While the Michigan product is sidelined, expect Willie Wright to step in at right guard.
