Adrian Colbert: Returning to Chicago
The Bears signed Colbert to their practice squad Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Colbert will return to Chicago, with whom he appeared in two games over the past two seasons prior to being released in August. He will provide an insurance option at safety, though he might end up seeing most of his snaps on special teams if he's elevated from the practice squad.

Adrian Colbert: Signs with Chicago
Colbert was signed to the Bears' practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Colbert suffered an undisclosed injury in August and was eventually released by the Bears, but he will now return to the team. He played in two games with Chicago last season, failing to record any stats while playing 20 special-teams snaps.

Adrian Colbert: Reaches injury settlement
The Bears released Colbert (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Colbert was placed on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury during the middle of training camp, which would've ended his 2023 campaign. However, he's now free to join a new team once he can pass a physical. Colbert appeared in two games last year (both with Chicago) but played exclusively on special teams.

There is no word on the nature of Colbert's injury at this point in time. Prior to his placement on IR, he was competing for a role providing depth in Chicago's secondary.
