Jordan Mims: Back with practice squad
Mims reverted to the Titans' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Mims was elevated to the active roster prior to Sunday's 26-0 loss to the Texans, failing to log any snaps in the contest. The running back could earn another elevation in Week 5 if Tyjae Spears (ankle) isn't ready to return from injured reserve before the team's matchup with the Cardinals.

Titans' Jordan Mims: Joins active roster
Mims was elevated from the Titans' practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Kalel Mullings (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Friday and Tyjae Spears (ankle) has missed Tennessee's first three contests this season, so Mims' elevation provides much needed backfield depth. He's expected to play behind both Tony Pollard and Julius Chestnut in the Week 4 matchup against the Texans.

Jordan Mims: Goes back to practice squad
Mims reverted to Tennessee's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Mims was elevated for Week 2 against the Rams and logged nine special-teams snaps, recording one tackle. Mims' likelihood of being elevated again for Week 3 may hinge on whether Kalel Mullings (ankle) is able to suit up.

Titans' Jordan Mims: Joins active roster
Mims was elevated from the Titans' practice squad to the active roster Saturday, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports.
The Fresno State product failed to make Tennessee's initial 53-man roster in late August, but he remained with the team's practice squad. With Tyjae Spears (ankle) and Kalel Mullings (ankle) likely both missing the Titans' Week 2 matchup against the Rams, Mims is expected to serve as a depth piece in the team's running back corps.

Jordan Mims: Staying in Tennessee
The Titans signed Mims to the practice squad Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Mims finished the preseason with 28 carries for 98 yards and six catches on as many targets for 33 yards, but he wasn't able to crack the Titans' 53-man roster Tuesday. He'll stay in Tennessee as a part of the team's practice squad, and he could be elevated to the active roster for the Titans' Week 1 contest against the Broncos if Kalel Mullings (ankle) is unable to play.

Jordan Mims: Casualty of cutdown day
The Titans waived Mims on Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Mims led Tennessee with 28 carries over three games during the preseason slate, but he gained a modest 98 yards and didn't score any touchdowns. The Fresno State product played with New Orleans last year, recording 70 yards on 20 rushes along with 71 yards on 12 receptions without scoring any touchdowns. Mims also worked on special teams, and his versatility could help him land work elsewhere.

Titans' Jordan Mims: Heavy workload Friday
Mims rushed the ball 13 times for 40 yards in Friday's 23-13 preseason win over the Vikings.
Mims was the third back in Friday's contest, after both Julius Chestnut and Kalel Mullings. Mims rotated with Jermar Jefferson but easily led the team with 13 carries. He was far less efficient than Jefferson, which could hurt his chances of cracking the roster to begin the regular season.

Titans' Jordan Mims: Signs with Tennessee
Mims signed a contract with the Titans on Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Mims -- whose contract with the Titans is for two years, per NFL reporter Jordan Schultz, has played in 13 regular-season games for the Saints since going undrafted in 2023, recording 32 touches for 141 yards across 108 snaps on offense. The Titans have Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears locked into the top two spots on their depth chart, leaving Mims to compete with Julius Chestnut, Kalel Mullings and Tyrion Davis-Price for one or two jobs.

Jordan Mims: Waived by New Orleans
Mims was waived by the Saints on Monday.
The running back suited up for 11 games for the Saints in 2024, recording 20 carries for 70 yards and 12 catches for 71 yards. With Alvin Kamara still leading the Saints backfield and 2023 third-round pick Kendre Miller, 2025 sixth-round pick Devin Neal and veteran Clyde Edwards-Helaire filling in the spots behind him for the moment, there wasn't much room for Mims to reprise his occasional third-string role from last season.

Saints' Jordan Mims: Logs five touches Week 18
Mims notched two carries for 12 yards and reeled in all three targets for 13 yards during Sunday's 27-19 loss against Tampa Bay.
Mims suited up for his 11th game this season after being ruled a healthy scratch ahead of last week's loss to the Raiders. The second-year running back served as RB3 behind veterans Jamaal Williams and Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who both logged eight carries while Alvin Kamara (groin) and Kendre Miller (concussion) were inactive. Mims never had much of a role other than seeing some sparse third-string reps throughout the year, totaling 20 carries for 70 yards and 12 catches (on 18 targets) for 71 yards. He also spent a few days on the Saints' practice squad in late October and early November. Should New Orleans re-sign him this offseason, Mims will likely compete for a spot on the fringe of the active roster heading into the 2025 campaign.

Saints' Jordan Mims: Healthy scratch for Week 17
Mims (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Raiders.
Mims logged a season-high 23 offensive snaps against the Packers last Monday with Alvin Kamara (groin) out of action and produced 32 total yards on four carries and five catches. Kamara is sidelined again this week, but the recently signed Clyde Edwards-Helaire was elevated to the active roster Saturday to serve as one of the Saints' three healthy running backs. As such, Mims will be the odd man out versus Las Vegas.

Saints' Jordan Mims: Sees minimal usage in lopsided loss
Mims accrued four rushes for 16 yards and caught five of eight targets for 16 yards during Monday's 34-0 defeat to the Packers.
The undrafted rookie served as RB2 behind second-year running back Jordan Mims while Alvin Kamara (groin) was inactive. Mims logged season highs in targets and catches, as rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler faced consistent pressure throughout the night and was forced to check down over and over again. The running back still averaged just 3.6 yards per touch, which is on par with his production from the nine previous games that he suited up for this year. With two more games left in the regular season and the Saints already eliminated from the playoffs, Mims could continue to serve as RB2 if Kamara ends up being shut down for the remainder of the year.

Saints' Jordan Mims: Inactive for Week 14
Mims (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Mims will not suit up Sunday due to Kendre Miller (hamstring) returning from injured reserve. Miller will serve as the Saints' No. 3 running back behind Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams. Mims' next opportunity to play will be Week 15 against the Commanders on Sunday, Dec. 15.

Saints' Jordan Mims: Inactive Sunday
Mims (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Rams.
The running back bumps down to third on the depth chart behind Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams, with the latter returning from a groin injury for his first game since Week 8. Mims only saw 29 combined offensive snaps in the three games that Williams missed.
