Shaun Wade: Cut loose by Chicago
The Bears released Wade (undisclosed) from injured reserve Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Wade had been placed on season-ending IR due to an undisclosed injury Aug. 12, but he'll now be able to sign with another team and play this year once he gets healthy. The 26-year-old cornerback hasn't logged a snap in an NFL regular-season contest since 2023, when he played in 14 contests with the Patriots, recording 23 tackles and one defensed pass.

Bears' Shaun Wade: Moved to Chicago's IR
Wade (undisclosed) reverted to the Bears' injured reserve list Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Wade has been working through an unspecified injury, which forced him to miss the Bears' preseason tie against the Dolphins on Sunday. He was injured/waived by Chicago, but he was shifted to the team's IR after going unclaimed off waivers. As such, Wade will be forced to miss the entire 2025 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Bears. Wade last saw regular-season action in 2023 with the Patriots, when he logged 23 tackles (21 solo) and one pass defense across 14 games.

Shaun Wade: Let go by Chargers
Wade was cut by the Chargers on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The cornerback signed with the 53-man roster from the practice squad Monday, but he did not appear in the Bolts' 17-15 loss to the Cardinals. Wade played on 337 defensive snaps across 14 regular-season games for the Patriots in 2023, the most NFL action he's seen since getting drafted by the Ravens in the fifth round of the 2021 draft.

Chargers' Shaun Wade: Headed to active roster
Wade signed with the Chargers' 53-man roster from their practice squad Monday, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.
Wade has yet to play this season, but he'll now get a chance to with his move to the team's active roster. With Deane Leonard (hamstring) now on IR and both Ja'Sir Taylor (lower leg) and Kristian Fulton (hamstring) questionable for Monday's game against the Cardinals, the Bolts could be in dire need of help in the secondary. Wade will work to provide that moving forward.

Patriots' Shaun Wade: Healthy ahead of Week 15
Wade (illness) did not appear on the Patriots' injury report Wednesday.
Wade was forced to miss the team's Week 14 win over the Steelers due to an illness, but he now appears ready to go for Sunday's matchup with Kansas City. The 25-year-old will be back in his role as a top reserve option behind Jonathan Jones and Myles Bryant at cornerback.

Patriots' Shaun Wade: Ruled out for Thursday
Wade (illness) won't play in Thursday's contest against Pittsburgh.
Wade exited Sunday's loss to the Chargers early due to an illness, but he was able to practice in full Tuesday and was consequently removed from New England's injury report. However, the third-year corner appears to have suffered a setback, as he was a limited practice participant Wednesday and has subsequently been ruled out of playing against the Steelers on Thursday Night Football. Wade has had an inconsistent role throughout the campaign, playing over 85 percent of New England's defensive snaps twice but also being limited to special-teams work on three separate occasions.
