Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Full participant Thursday
Brown (illness) was a full participant at Thursday's practice, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Brown missed practice Wednesday due to an illness, but his full participation Thursday indicates the wide receiver has recovered and should be available Sunday against the Bills. His role has decreased substantially since Rashee Rice's return from suspension, with Rice, Travis Kelce and Xavier Worthy all earning more attention from Patrick Mahomes than Brown.

Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Misses practice with illness
Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Brown (illness) will not practice Wednesday, Matt McMullen of the team's official site reports.
Brown's health will have to be monitored for Week 9, as the veteran wideout will now have two more chances to get back on the practice field ahead of Sunday's road matchup against the Bills. In the two games since Rashee Rice's return to the lineup, Brown played under 40 percent of offensive snaps. He failed to haul in his only target during Monday's win over the Commanders. As a result, even if he's cleared to suit up Week 9, the current state of Brown's involvement on offense will put him off the fantasy radar aside from in deeper formats.

Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Comes up empty Monday
Brown was unable to reel in his lone target during Monday's 28-7 win against the Commanders.
Brown saw just 26 snaps during Monday's tilt, marking the second straight game he's seen fewer than 30 snaps. That coincides with the return of star wide receiver Rashee Rice, whose six-game suspension concluded prior to last week's contest versus the Raiders. However, that also coincides with two comfortable wins against the Raiders (31-0) and the Marcus Mariota-led Commanders (28-7), so the passing attack will likely be more relied upon in the coming weeks with the Bills, Broncos and Colts on the schedule.

Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Snags early touchdown
Brown recorded two catches on four targets for 14 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-0 win over the Raiders.
Brown made an early impact in the game, hauling in an eight-yard touchdown to put the Chiefs up 14-0. He was a non-factor after that, mixing in for similar target volume with all of the Chiefs' pass catchers except Rashee Rice. Brown could pop up for decent performances throughout the rest of the season, but the return of Rice will make it difficult for Brown to retain the consistent involvement in the offense he enjoyed in the early part of the campaign.

Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Stars with two TDs on SNF
Brown brought in all four of his targets for 45 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Sunday's 30-17 win over the Lions.
Brown delivered a standout performance under the bright lights of Sunday Night Football when he lifted his team with two trips to the end zone in the second half. The 28-year-old has done an admirable job starting for a thin Chiefs' receiving corps, producing a 30-302-3 line through six weeks of action. The impending doom Brown's managers are currently feeling is the looming return of Kansas City's top WR Rashee Rice. The suspended wideout will return for next Sunday's tilt against the Raiders, potentially eating into his replacement's production in the process. Brown should remain rostered until the dust settles from Rice's return, but expectations should be kept in check for Week 7.
