Top Marquise Brown News

  • Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Stars with two TDs on SNF

Brown brought in all four of his targets for 45 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Sunday's 30-17 win over the Lions.

Brown delivered a standout performance under the bright lights of Sunday Night Football when he lifted his team with two trips to the end zone in the second half. The 28-year-old has done an admirable job starting for a thin Chiefs' receiving corps, producing a 30-302-3 line through six weeks of action. The impending doom Brown's managers are currently feeling is the looming return of Kansas City's top WR Rashee Rice. The suspended wideout will return for next Sunday's tilt against the Raiders, potentially eating into his replacement's production in the process. Brown should remain rostered until the dust settles from Rice's return, but expectations should be kept in check for Week 7.

  • Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Four catches in MNF loss

Brown brought in four of eight targets for 48 yards in the Chiefs' 31-28 loss to the Jaguars on Monday night.

Brown tied for second on the Chiefs in targets while checking in third in both receptions and receiving yards. The busy night for the veteran wideout was par for the course thus far this season, as Brown has no fewer than five targets in any of his first five contests. Brown also recorded his first catch of at least 20 yards since Week 1 on Monday night, and he'll continue to profile as a key target for Patrick Mahomes in a Week 6 Sunday night showdown at home against the Lions.

  • Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Tallies first touchdown of 2025

Brown recorded three receptions on five targets for 38 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 37-20 win over the Ravens.

Brown maintained a key role in the Kansas City offense even with the return of Xavier Worthy, as he was one of four pass catchers with at least five targets. He made an 18-yard grab early in the second quarter to set up a field goal, and he added a 15-yard touchdown catch early in the fourth quarter. Since an explosive Week 1 performance, Brown has not reached 50 receiving yards in a game, though he has consistently earned at least five targets.
