Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Back at practice
Brown (ankle/foot) has resumed practicing, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Per Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com, Brown did a little work Sunday and will do a bit more Monday, which suggests that the wideout is being eased back in after missing time. In terms of the chances of Brown seeing any action in Friday's preseason finale, Nate Taylor of ESPN.com notes that coach Andy Reid said, "We'll see how he progresses through this thing. It's not a matter of want. He wants to do it. He's taking it slow and we don't want any setbacks."

Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Won't play Friday
Brown (ankle/foot) won't play in Friday's preseason contest against the Seahawks, Nate Taylor of ESPN.com reports.
Brown remained sidelined during Wednesday's practice, per Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site, and the wideout is now slated to sit out his second straight exhibition contest Friday. Brown's last chance to see preseason snaps will arrive Aug. 22 against the Bears.

Kansas City coach Andy Reid talked up Brown's progress Monday, saying that the veteran wideout has resumed running, but he's still not yet ready to log his first on-field action at practice since July 29. Brown's ankle/foot injury kept him from suiting up for Saturday's preseason contest against the Cardinals, and he still looks uncertain for Friday's exhibition matchup on the road in Seattle.

Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Tweaks ankle Tuesday
Coach Andy Reid noted after Tuesday's practice that he believes Brown will be fine after suffering an ankle injury during the session, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
That said, Rapoport added that Brown figures to undergo testing to confirm the notion that his ankle issue isn't anything major, but for now we'll continue to view the wideout as day-to-day. The same applies to fellow WR Xavier Worthy, who banged his head prior to exiting Tuesday's practice.
