Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Expected to suit up Sunday
Worthy, who is officially questionable for Sunday's Week 12 clash against the Colts due to an ankle injury, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Worthy first suffered an ankle injury in practice Nov. 13, and he tweaked the ankle a few days later in a loss to Denver. The second-year wideout logged a DNP/LP/FP practice progression this week and was given a designation of questionable on Friday's final injury report. It sounds like Worthy is going to be able to suit up in a big AFC battle against Indianapolis, and he should again work as Kansas City's No. 2 wideout alongside Rashee Rice.

Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Status in question for Week 12
Worthy (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Colts.
Worthy tended to an ankle injury last week but still suited up this past Sunday at Denver, logging a 76 percent snap share and gathering in three of five targets for 25 yards. After coach Andy Reid told Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site on Wednesday that Worthy tweaked his ankle, the second-year wide receiver followed a DNP/LP/FP practice regimen this week. Worthy's status for Week 12 will be confirmed about 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Worthy (ankle) was a limited participant at Thursday's practice.
Worthy returned to the practice field after sitting out Wednesday, but he wasn't able to shed all limitations. Unless Worthy continues the positive trend and practices fully Friday, he will likely carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Colts. Worthy has dealt with ankle injuries throughout the season, but his only two absences came in Weeks 2 and 3 due to a dislocated shoulder.

Worthy missed Wednesday's practice entirely, so practicing in even a limited fashion Thursday would represent a tangible step in the right direction. The second-year pro is dealing with a tweaked ankle suffered during practice Week 11, and though he managed to suit up for Kansas City's loss to the Broncos, there are no guarantees he'll be able to play through his injury again during Sunday's matchup against the Colts. It will bode well if Worthy is able to log at least one full practice session Thursday and/or Friday.

Per Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site, coach Andy Reid noted earlier Wednesday that Worthy tweaked his ankle, clouding the wideout's status for the team's ensuing practice session. Following the DNP, Worthy has two more chances to work before the team's final injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Colts is posted. If he's limited or out this weekend, however, Hollywood Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Tyquan Thornton would be candidates to log added WR snaps behind Rashee Rice.

Chiefs' Xavier Worthy: Three catches in loss
Worthy caught three of five targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 22-19 loss to the Broncos.
Worthy caught three catches for the second straight game, but like in his last outing, was unable to get much going with his touches. The second-year wideout has not been a significant factor in Kansas City's passing game with teammate Rashee Rice in the lineup, despite Worthy averaging around six targets per game since Rice's return from suspension. Worthy has not had many breakout performances this season, but does typically offer a decent floor based on his involvement in the Chiefs offense. The 22-year-old will look to turn things around from his underwhelming day in Denver when the Chiefs host the Colts in Week 12.
