Vikings' Tai Felton: Gets first NFL reception
Felton had one reception for nine yards on his only target in Sunday's win over the Bengals.
Felton has been used almost exclusively on special teams and only got 12 snaps on offense late in the game in a blowout win. He has less upside for playing time on offense with the return of Jordan Addison from a suspension next week. Still, he showed promise in training camp and could be a factor if injuries strike the receiving corps.

Vikings' Tai Felton: Plays exclusively on special teams
Felton did not play a single offensive snap in Monday's 27-24 win over the Bears.
Felton played 19 snaps with the Vikings' special teams unit but didn't see any usage in Minnesota's offense. The rookie wideout is behind teammates Justin Jefferson, Jalen Nailor and Adam Thielen in the wide receiver pecking order, so Felton faces an uphill battle for playing time outside of his role on special teams. Seeing rotational snaps at receiver will become even more difficult when teammate Jordan Addison returns from his three-game suspension. Felton should be ignored for fantasy purposes when the Vikings host the Falcons in Week 2.

Vikings' Tai Felton: Absent from injury report
Felton (arm) was not listed on Thursday's injury report.
The rookie third-rounder was dealing with arm soreness in the tail end of training camp, but he appears to be past the issue given his absence from Thursday's injury report. Felton is on track to play Monday against the Bears, when he'll make his NFL regular-season debut. With Jordan Addison (suspension) missing the first three games of the season, Felton is in line to see rotational snaps at wide receiver behind Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen and Jalen Nailor.

Vikings' Tai Felton: Sits Friday due to soreness
Felton (arm) did not play in Friday's preseason game against the Titans, Emily Leiker of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports.
Felton exited practice Wednesday with what looked to be a minor arm injury. Coach Kevin O'Connell noted that Felton was still sore Friday but confirmed that the injury isn't serious. Felton's health ahead of a Week 1 matchup against the Bears takes on added importance given the suspension of Jordan Addison and the uncertain status of Jalen Nailor (hand).

Vikings' Tai Felton: Apparent arm injury
Felton exited a camp-closing scrimmage early on Wednesday with what appeared to be a hand or arm injury, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Felton's availability for Saturday's preseason game isn't clear. It doesn't sound like a serious injury, but watch his status next week. Felton is battling with Lucky Jackson for the No. 4 spot on the wideout depth chart -- a role that could end up being significant early in the season with Jordan Addison set to miss the first three games due to a suspension.

Vikings' Tai Felton: Two grabs in Saturday's loss
Felton caught both his targets for 32 yards in Saturday's 20-12 preseason loss to the Patriots. He added 21 yards on one kickoff return.
The rookie third-round pick got the start with Justin Jefferson (hamstring), Jordan Addison (suspension) and Jalen Nailor (hand) all on the sidelines, but Felton didn't flash until No. 3 QB Brett Rypien entered the game. The duo connected for gains of 20 and 12 yards on the Vikings' final possession of the first half, setting up a Will Reichard field goal. Felton is battling with Lucky Jackson for the No. 4 spot on the wideout depth chart -- a role that could end up being significant early in the season with Addison set to miss the first three games -- and he may have gained an edge in that competition after Jackson caught only one of his five targets Saturday in a shaky performance. However, Felton did fumble on a kickoff return, which could hurt his chances to win a return job.

Vikings' Tai Felton: Two receptions in preseason debut
Felton had two receptions for 14 yards on two targets in Saturday's preseason win over Houston. He also forced a fumble in punt coverage, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Felton worked as the fourth receiver and could begin the season in that role due to Jordan Addison being suspended for the first three regular-season games. Felton also lined up as a starting kick returner along with Ty Chandler.

Vikings' Tai Felton: In mix for early playing time
Felton and Lucky Jackson are the leading candidates to work as the No. 3 receiver to begin the season with Jordan Addison suspended the first three games for violating the league's Substances of Abuse Policy, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
Felton has been getting some work with the first-team offense in camp with Justin Jefferson sidelined due to a hamstring injury. Jalen Nailor will move up to the No. 2 receiver role while Addison is out, but the No. 3 spot is still unsettled. Jackson is a surprising co-leader for the role since he played only three games last year and was primarily used on special teams. As a third-round pick in the 2025 Draft, Felton would appear to have more upside in the role, but he could be eased into action as a rookie.
