Seahawks' Elijah Arroyo: One grab in loss
Arroyo secured his lone target for 10 yards in Sunday's 38-35 loss to the Buccaneers.
Arroyo played 26 of the Seahawks' 61 offensive snaps, behind fellow tight end AJ Barner (49) and ahead of Eric Saubert (17). The rookie has recorded just six catches for 92 yards across Seattle's first five games this season. Arroyo's limited usage makes him very difficult to trust for fantasy purposes. The Seahawks visit the Jaguars in Week 6.

Seahawks' Elijah Arroyo: Generates 44 yards in win
Arroyo caught two of four targets for 44 yards in Thursday's 23-20 win over the Cardinals.
Arroyo gained 32 yards on one reception, and he was targeted in the end zone in the second quarter, too. The rookie played 55 percent of the offensive snaps, and while he's still the No. 2 tight end behind AJ Barner, Arroyo's snap counts and usage are rising. He'll look to continue his ascent in Week 5 against the Buccaneers.

Seahawks' Elijah Arroyo: Cleared to play Thurdsay
Arroyo (groin) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice and does not carry an injury designation into Thursday's NFC West clash against the Cardinals, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Arroyo failed to haul in his lone target during Sunday's 44-13 win over the Saints and tweaked his groin in the process. He was estimated as limited on the first two practice reports of the week, but he has been given the green light to play in Arizona. The rookie second-rounder has opened the season with three catches (on five targets) for 38 yards while operating as the Seahawks' TE2 behind AJ Barner.

Seahawks' Elijah Arroyo: Deemed limited for walkthrough
Arroyo (groin) was estimated as a limited participant in Tuesday's practice walkthrough, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Arroyo was was also estimated as a limited participant Monday, so his status for Thursday's Week 4 matchup against Arizona is very much up in the air. The rookie tight end logged a season-high 28 offensive snaps in Sunday's win over New Orleans, but he came away from that contest with a groin injury. If he's unable to suit up Thursday, Eric Saubert would presumably work as Seattle's No. 2 tight end behind AJ Barner.

Seahawks' Elijah Arroyo: Working through groin injury
Arroyo was listed as a limited participant in Monday's estimated practice report due to a groin injury, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
The rookie second-rounder played 30 snaps (28 on offense, two on special teams) and failed to haul in his lone target during the Seahawks' 44-13 win over the Saints on Sunday. Arroyo appears to have come out of that contest worse for wear with a groin injury, and his practice participation over the next two days will determine his status heading into Thursday's NFC West clash against the Cardinals in Arizona. Eric Saubert and Nick Kallerup would be in line for more snaps at tight end behind AJ Barner if Arroyo is not cleared to play.

Seahawks' Elijah Arroyo: Gets more snaps in blowout win
Arroyo didn't catch his only target in Sunday's 44-13 win over the Saints.
Arroyo played 50 percent of the offensive snaps, his highest mark of the year. There's no indication that he's encroaching on AJ Barner's workload at this point, but if the trend continues in Thursday's matchup versus the Cardinals, it will be worth keeping an eye on.

Seahawks' Elijah Arroyo: Two catches in win
Arroyo caught two of three targets for 31 yards in Sunday's 31-17 win over the Steelers.
Arroyo handled a 39 percent snap share and is the clear No. 2 tight end behind second-year AJ Barner, who logged 89 percent of the offensive snaps. The rookie showed his explosiveness in the first quarter, scooping a short pass from Sam Darnold and taking it 34 yards into Pittsburgh territory. While he caught just one pass the rest of the game, it's an encouraging start for the youngster.

Seahawks' Elijah Arroyo: Quiet debut
Arroyo caught his lone target for seven yards in Sunday's 17-13 loss to the 49ers.
The rookie second-round pick played just 16 of the team's 52 offensive snaps (31 percent) while AJ Barner finished with 44 snaps (85 percent). Arroyo should have the highest long-term upside because of his athleticism and pass-catching abilities, but Barner has established himself as a dependable run blocker that may fit better with the Seahawks' scheme.

Seahawks' Elijah Arroyo: Logs two receptions Friday
Arroyo brought in both of his targets for 19 yards in Friday's 33-16 preseason win over Kansas City.
AJ Barner lined up with Seattle's first-string offense Friday, hinting that he has the early lead over Arroyo in the competition for the No. 1 tight end job. The 22-year-old Arroyo hasn't done anything to hurt his stock this preseason, catching all four of his targets for 33 yards across two contests. The rookie would have to leapfrog Barner in the Seahawks' final preseason game against Green Bay on Saturday, Aug. 23 in order to avoid starting the regular season as the backup option.
