Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: Inactive Sunday
Wright (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
The running back is a healthy scratch for the second straight game, as De'Von Achane and Ollie Gordon continue to lead Miami's backfield. Wright has yet to carry the ball in 2025.

Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: Inactive versus Carolina
Wright is inactive for Sunday's game against the Panthers.
With Wright the odd man out, De'Von Achane and Ollie Gordon will handle Miami's backfield duties Sunday. Wright is thus off the fantasy radar until he reclaims a spot in the team's RB rotation behind Achane.

Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: No snaps in Monday's win
Wright did not play any snaps during Monday's 27-21 win over the Jets.
Wright hasn't logged a single snap on offense or special teams in the two regular-season games for which he's been active since returning from his knee injury, leaving backup duties to Ollie Gordon behind starter De'Von Achane. The second-year pro will work to get more involved as the No. 3 back in Week 5 versus the Panthers on Sunday, Oct. 5, but at this stage it's difficult to envision a path for Wright to attain notable fantasy value in Miami's backfield.

Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: No snaps in Thursday night loss
Wright did not play any snaps during Thursday's 31-21 loss to the Bills.
Wright was cleared to make his regular-season debut Thursday, but he did not handle any snaps on either offense or special teams while De'Von Achane and Ollie Gordon led Miami's backfield. He'll work to get more involved and challenge Gordon for No. 2 opportunities versus the Jets in Week 4 on Monday, Sept. 29.

Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: Cleared to suit up Thursday
Wright (knee) does not carry an injury designation for Thursday's game against the Bills, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
Wright will make his regular-season debut versus Buffalo on Thursday, joining Ollie Gordon as a depth backfield option behind starter De'Von Achane. Through two weeks this season Achane has maintained a dominant workload out of the backfield, though his production has mostly come through the air with Miami's defense having surrendered early leads and limited the team's ability to lean on the run. If the Dolphins face a similar game script versus the Bills consistent rushing opportunities will again be hard to come by, potentially leaving few reserve carries available to Wright and Gordon.

Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: Logs limited practice Tuesday
Wright (knee) was a limited participant at practice Tuesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Head coach Mike McDaniel stated Tuesday that the running back was "real close" to returning last week, and that he's optimistic about Wright's chances of suiting up in Week 3, according to Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network. Additionally, McDaniel said that the team will "see how the rest of the week goes," and that the running back is "putting his best foot forward." Wright's status on Wednesday's injury report of the week will provide more clarity regarding his status for Thursday Night Football in Buffalo.

Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: Estimated as limited Monday
Wright (knee) was listed as limited on Monday's practice estimate, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
Wright has missed the Dolphins' first two games, but after logging limited practices this past Thursday and Friday, and maintaining that level on Monday's estimate, the running back appears to be inching closer toward a return to action. Whether he makes his season debut Thursday against the Bills or Week 4 against the Jets, Wright is destined for a complementary role behind lead back De'Von Achane.

Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: Not playing Sunday
Wright (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Patriots.
Wright will miss his second straight game to begin the season, but he appears to have made some tangible progress in his recovery from the minor right knee procedure he required in late August. After practicing in a limited fashion Thursday and Friday, Wright was able to take a doubtful designation into the weekend prior to being included on the Dolphins' Week 2 inactive list. The Dolphins will face a quick turnaround in Week 3 with a Thursday matchup in Buffalo, but the second-year running back could have a chance at making his 2025 debut in that contest if he's able to increase his practice activity within the next few days.
