49ers' Tarron Jackson: Back with team
Jackson (undisclosed) was discharged from the hospital and returned to the 49ers' training camp Monday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Jackson was taken to the hospital from Sunday's practice after he went down during a play with an undisclosed injury. The 27-year-old, who's competing for a reserve role along the defensive line, will continue to be evaluated in the coming days.

49ers' Tarron Jackson: Placed on IR
The 49ers placed Jackson (undisclosed) on injured reserve Tuesday.
Jackson was taken to a local hospital after suffering an injury during Sunday's practice. He was discharged Monday, but by being placed on IR, the 2021 sixth-round pick will be forced to miss the entire 2025 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the 49ers. Jackson appeared in three regular-season games for the Panthers in 2024, logging 49 snaps (28 on defense, 21 on special teams) without otherwise recording a stat.

49ers' Tarron Jackson: Suffers serious injury
Jackson (undisclosed) was taken to the hospital after suffering an injury during San Francisco's practice Sunday, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Jackson went down while being blocked and had to be taken off the field on a backboard. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Jackson was conscious and could feel his extremities, although he is still set to undergo additional testing.

Panthers' Tarron Jackson: Joins active roster
The Panthers signed Jackson to their active roster Thursday.
Jackson spent the last three weeks with Carolina's practice squad, but he's now been promoted to the team's active roster. The Coastal Carolina product most recently appeared in a regular-season game in 2022 with the Eagles, where he failed to record a single stat while playing 38 total snaps (26 defensive and 12 on special teams) across four contests.
