Horne suffered a torn Achilles' tendon in Saturday's preseason contest against the Jets. If he goes unclaimed, Horne will revert to the Giants' injured reserve list. Horne was signed by the Giants off of the Falcons' practice squad Thursday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Horne appeared in three games with the Falcons this season, after suiting up in all 17 last year. The 26-year-old has four assisted tackles on the season and should provide some extra depth on the defensive line with Dexter Lawrence still struggling with a hamstring injury.
