Packers' Josh Jacobs: Still dealing with calf issue
Jacobs (calf) was limited in practice Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
For a second week in a row, Jacobs is kicking it off with a cap on his reps due to a lingering calf injury. However, he was able to suit up this past Sunday at Pittsburgh and log a 54 percent snap share on his way to 16 touches for 45 yards from scrimmage and one rushing TD. Jacobs will have two more chances to get back to all activity this week before the Packers potentially clear him again ahead of Sunday's contest against the Panthers.

Packers' Josh Jacobs: TD salvages quiet night
Jacobs (calf) took 13 carries for 33 yards and a touchdown while corralling all three of his targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 35-25 win over the Steelers.
Jacobs was headed towards his worst fantasy performance of the season before punching in a touchdown late in the fourth quarter on Sunday Night Football. Green Bay's workhorse was held to 2.5 yards per carry, opening the door for backup Emanuel Wilson to lead the team with 61 rushing yards on 11 attempts. Jacobs was dealing with a calf injury during the practice week, which could help explain his poor efficiency in Sunday's victory. The late score extended Jacobs' touchdown streak to four games, rewarding fantasy managers with seven trips to the end zone over that span. Assuming he escaped this contest unscathed, Jacobs should be treated as an elite asset in a soft matchup against the Panthers next Sunday.

Packers' Josh Jacobs: Cleared to play Sunday night
Jacobs (calf) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at Pittsburgh, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Jacobs played through the same injury last week in a win at Arizona, taking 14 touches for 58 yards and two TDs on 53 percent snap share. He should be tasked with his full workload again now that he's seemingly closer to 100 percent.

Packers' Josh Jacobs: Another limited session
Jacobs (calf) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Jacobs played through a calf injury during this past Sunday's win at Arizona, notching 14 touches for 58 yards from scrimmage and two rushing TDs on a 53 percent snap share. After the running back's limited practice Wednesday, coach Matt LaFleur told Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site on Thursday that Jacobs was "begging for more reps." Jacobs has yet to take on a full allotment of on-field work this week, meaning Friday's session likely will be key for him to avoid a designation ahead of Sunday's game in Pittsburgh.

Packers' Josh Jacobs: Limited by calf issue
Jacobs (calf) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Jacobs opened last week with back-to-back limited sessions due to an illness, and the Packers tacked on a calf injury Friday despite the fact he logged a full practice. The health concerns left him questionable for this past Sunday's game at Arizona, but he was able to suit up and continue pacing the Packers backfield to the tune of 14 touches for 58 yards from scrimmage and two rushing TDs. Jacobs has two chances remaining this week to get back to all activity, but it remains to be seen if he'll be able to avoid a game-day designation on this occasion.

Packers' Josh Jacobs: Punches in two TDs in win
Jacobs carried the ball 13 times for 55 yards and two touchdowns and caught his only target for three yards in Sunday's 27-23 win over the Cardinals.
Both TDs came in the second half as the Packers rallied from a 13-6 halftime deficit, with Jacobs hitting paydirt from seven yards out in the third quarter and from the one-yard line in the fourth for the game-winning score. It's the veteran back's third straight game with multiple touchdowns, and while he has yet to reach 100 rushing yards in a game in 2025, Jacobs' eight TDs on the ground and 593 scrimmage yards through six contests have given him plenty of fantasy value. He'll look to keep rolling in Week 8 against the Steelers.

Packers' Josh Jacobs: Active in Week 7
Jacobs (illness/calf) is listed as active Sunday at Arizona, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
Jacobs was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday due to an illness, but despite the Packers tacking on a calf injury on Friday's practice report, he logged a full session to end Week 7 prep. A questionable designation for Jacobs ensued before Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Saturday evening that the running back was a "true game-time decision." Per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, Jacobs completed a pregame workout Sunday, after which uncertainty surrounding his availability was extinguished. However, it's unknown if Jacobs will be able to take on his normal 22.6 touches per game. If Jacobs yields some of those reps to the rest of Green Bay's backfield, Emanuel Wilson likely will be the biggest beneficiary, with Chris Brooks also on hand for work.

Packers' Josh Jacobs: True game-time decision for Sunday
Jacobs (illness/calf), who remains listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals, is considered a "true game-time decision," a league source tells Adam Schefter of ESPN.
After limited practices Wednesday and Thursday, Jacobs turned in a full practice session Friday, but Schefter relays that the Packers don't anticipate being able to confirm his status until Sunday. With that in mind, final word on Jacobs' availability, or lack thereof, may not arrive until the team releases its inactive list roughly 90 minutes prior to the team's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. Emanuel Wilson will likely be in line to start at running back for Green Bay if Jacobs is unavailable, while Chris Brooks would likely handle the bulk of pass-catching reps. Fantasy managers awaiting news on Jacobs' status will want to scour the waiver wire for Wilson and/or Brooks in the event Jacobs ends up sitting out.
