Lions' Kenny Yeboah: Sent to IR
The Lions placed Yeboah (undisclosed) on injured reserve Sunday.
Yeboah's placement on IR rules him out for the entire 2025 season, barring an injury settlement. It remains to be seen whether his current injury is related to the leg issue that held him out early in training camp, though he managed to suit up for Detroit's preseason opener against the Falcons on Friday.

Yeboah has been working through a leg injury that he suffered during the Hall of Fame Game against the Chargers on July 31. He was healthy enough to make himself available for Friday's game, though he didn't play a single snap. Lions' Kenny Yeboah: Moving to NFC
The Lions signed Yeboah to a one-year contract Friday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Yeboah played his first four NFL campaigns with the Jets, with most of his work during that span coming on special teams. He did log a career-high five catches and 47 receiving yards last season while nabbing his first NFL touchdown Week 11 against Indianapolis. The Lions have Sam LaPorta and Brock Wright leading their tight-end corps, so Yeboah's role will likely center around blocking and special teams.
