Chargers' Tyler Biadasz: Inks deal with Bolts
Biadasz (ankle) signed with the Chargers on Friday.
The 28-year-old from Wisconsin finished his 2025 campaign with the Commanders on IR due to ankle and knee injuries, but his signing with Los Angeles on Friday suggests he's since moved past those issues. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Biadasz's deal with the Chargers is worth $30 million over three years, making him sixth-highest paid center in the NFL. He's started 84 of 92 regular-season games since entering the league in 2020 and earned a Pro Bowl selection with the Cowboys in 2022. Biadasz is expected to help fortify a Chargers offensive line that allowed the second-most sacks in the NFL (60) in 2025.

The Commanders are slated to release Biadasz (ankle/knee), Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Biadasz, who entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick by Dallas in 2020, spent the last two seasons with the Commanders. In that span, the 28-year-old center -- who finished the 2025 campaign on IR -- started all 31 regular-season games that he played in.

Commanders' Tyler Biadasz: Placed on IR
The Commanders placed Biadasz (ankle/knee) on injured reserve Wednesday.
Biadasz will miss the regular-season finale Sunday against the Eagles after he was injured on Christmas Day against Dallas. Nick Allegretti kicked over to center to replace Biadasz following the injury. Signed to a three-year, $30 million deal ahead of the 2024 season, Biadasz is currently under contract through 2026. He's started 31 of a possible 34 regular-season games with Washington.

Commanders' Tyler Biadasz: Unlikely to play Week 18
Biadasz (ankle/knee) is unlikely to be available for the Commanders' regular-season finale against the Eagles on Sunday, Ben Standig of Big 100 Washington D.C. reports.
Biadasz suffered ankle and knee injuries during the Commanders' 30-23 loss to the Cowboys on Christmas Day. The injuries aren't severe enough to require surgery, but it puts the sixth-year pro on the doubtful side of playing Week 18. Nick Allegretti would likely draw the start at center against Philadelphia if Biadasz is inactive.
