Osirus Mitchell: Done with Packers
Green Bay waived Mitchell (quadriceps) from its injured reserve list with an injury settlement Monday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Unless Mitchell is claimed during the current waiver period, he'll become an unrestricted free agent. The USFL standout never really got a chance to stick with the Packers after suffering a quadriceps injury shortly after padded practices began back in August, and he'll now have to look for another opportunity elsewhere.

Packers' Osirus Mitchell: Headed to IR
Mitchell (quadriceps) reverted to the Packers' injured reserve list Thursday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports
Mitchell suffered a quadriceps injury last week and was subsequently waived with an injury designation by the Packers on Wednesday. The former USFL standout is now set to sit out the entire 2022 regular season on Green Bay's IR, unless he can reach an injury settlement with the team this preseason.

Osirus Mitchell: Going to waivers
Green Bay waived Mitchell (quadriceps) with an injury designation Wednesday, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
The move means that unless another team claims him during the current waiver period, Mitchell will revert to the Packers IR list. The extent of the wideout's injury is still unclear, but his absence will open up more opportunities for rookies Samori Toure and Danny Davis, who themselves are fighting for a roster spot, too.

Mitchell signed a one-year contract with the Packers before training camp, and he is competing for a roster spot among the team's wide receivers. The quadriceps injury likely occurred during the team's first padded practice Tuesday, as this is a new issue for the former USFL wideout. Missing time in training camp is not a great start for Mitchell, as he is in an uphill battle to secure a spot on the team's final roster.

Mitchell signed a one-year contract with the Packers on Monday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Mitchell recently competed in the USFL with the Birmingham Stallions and spent the majority of last season on the Cowboys' practice squad. He had 23 catches for 333 yards and three touchdowns for the Stallions and went through a tryout with the Packers on Monday before being offered the contract.
