The Broncos signed Bandy to the practice squad Thursday, Mike Klis of 9news.com reports.
After being waived by the Broncos on Tuesday to make room for veteran OT Geron Christian, Bandy cleared waivers and has reunited with the team. Bandy's return may be followed by an elevation to the 53-man roster for Sunday's game against the Chiefs if wide receivers Marvin Mims (concussion) or Trent Sherfield (toe) are unable to suit up.

Broncos' Michael Bandy: Back to practice squad
Bandy reverted to the Broncos' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Bandy made his 2025 regular-season debut during the Broncos' 18-15 win over the Texans on Sunday. He played a total of 14 snaps (six on offense, eight on special teams) while hauling in a 16-yard pass on his only target of the game. He also returned four punts for 30 yards, though he fumbled one of those punts late in the second quarter that was scooped up by the Texans and led to a Ka'imi Fairbairn 40-yard field goal four plays later. Bandy could be elevated to the Broncos' active roster for Thursday's game against the Raiders if Marvin Mims (concussion) is not cleared to play.

Broncos' Michael Bandy: Elevated for Week 9
Bandy was elevated from the Broncos' practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
With Marvin Mims (concussion) being ruled out for Sunday's game against the Texans, Bandy has been elevated to the active roster for what could be his first regular-season game as a Bronco. The wide receiver finished the preseason with six catches for 59 yards while logging 13 yards on two punt returns. Bandy will likely operate in a reserve capacity as the second punt returner behind Riley Moss. He will also be the fifth wide receiver behind Courtland Sutton, Troy Franklin, Pat Bryant, and Trent Sherfield.

Michael Bandy: Waived by Broncos
Bandy was waived by Denver on Tuesday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official website reports.
Bandy was unable to earn a depth role in a crowded wide receiving corps ahead of the 2025 season. The 27-year-old wideout spent the entire 2024 season on the Broncos' practice squad, and he'll now look to secure a role on another team's roster. If Bandy is unable to latch on with another team, it's possible he could eventually sign with Denver's practice squad once again.

The Broncos signed Bandy to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.
The wide receiver from San Diego spent his 2024 campaign with the Broncos' practice squad and will now remain in Denver after inking a reserve/future contract with the team Wednesday. Bandy's most recent NFL action came with the Broncos in 2023, when he failed to record a stat across 10 total snaps (two offensive and eight on special teams) in one appearance. He's expected to compete for a depth role in Denver's wide receiver corps this summer.

Broncos' Michael Bandy: Gets spot on active roster
The Broncos signed Bandy from their practice squad to their active roster Saturday.
Bandy has been cut from and re-signed to Denver's practice squad four times this season, and he'll now get his first chance to be active on game day with his promotion to the active roster. The Broncos' pass-catching corps could be perilously depleted Sunday against the Chargers with Courtland Sutton (concussion) ruled out and Jerry Jeudy (illness) and Marvin Mims (hamstring) both deemed questionable, so Bandy could see more than a minor role in the contest. The other Denver wideouts who don't have an injury designation for Sunday are Brandon Johnson, Lil'Jordan Humphrey and Phillip Dorsett.
