Cardinals' James Wiggins: Back from injury
Wiggins appears fully recovered from a knee injury heading into his second training camp with Arizona, Aaron Decker of SI.com reports.
Wiggins played three games in 2021 after being called up from the Cardinals' practice squad in October, appearing solely on special teams during this stint. The safety was then placed on injured reserve with a knee injury in December and was never activated before the end of his rookie season. Wiggins should vie with Charles Washington and Deionte Thompson for a backup safety role during training camp.

Cardinals' James Wiggins: Designated to return
Wiggins (knee) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday.
Wiggins landed on injured reserve in early December but will now be able to return to practice. It's not yet clear when he'll be activated from IR, but he's unlikely to play a significant defensive role if he's activated at some point.

Wiggins (knee) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Wiggins' move to IR comes off three consecutive absences plus a bye week. Selected in the seventh round of the 2021 Draft, Wiggins has only appeared in three games this season, totaling 35 special-teams snaps.

Cardinals' James Wiggins: Set for fourth consecutive absence
Wiggins (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Bears, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Wiggins practiced in limited fashion Wednesday prior to failing to take the field on either Thursday or Friday. As a result, he's in line to miss his fourth consecutive game, which is particularly worrisome given that the team is coming off its bye.

Cardinals' James Wiggins: Sidelined again
Wiggins (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against Seattle, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Wiggins is set to miss his third consecutive game with a knee injury. He logged two limited practices to close the week, so he should be line to return after the Cardinals' bye in Week 12. Wiggins played exclusively on special teams, so his ongoing absence will not affect Arizona's defense.
