Raiders' Leki Fotu: Unable to practice
Fotu (foot) did not practice Tuesday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
Fotu appeared to have a boot on his right foot and was unable to practice Tuesday. The 26-year-old played just two games for the Jets last season, missing time with both a knee and a hamstring injury. With the Raiders trading for defensive tackle Thomas Booker on Monday, it appears the team is looking for extra depth at the position, as Fotu was in contention for a starting nose tackle job entering 2025.

Raiders' Leki Fotu: Going to Vegas
Fotu signed with the Raiders on Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The rotational defensive tackle played in just two games for the Jets in 2024, missing the first five with a hamstring injury and the last 10 with a knee issue. The 2020 fourth-round pick of the Cardinals spent his first four seasons with Arizona, recording a career high 31 tackles in 2022 and a career high 2.5 sacks in 2023. Fotu should have a chance to compete for a role in 2025 with the Raiders.

Jets' Leki Fotu: Won't come off IR in Week 17
Fotu (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's battle against Buffalo, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Fotu has been on injured reserve since Oct. 31 due to a knee injury. He was designated to return Dec. 18 but didn't get activated ahead of last Sunday's game against the Rams. With Fotu being held out again this Sunday, his final chance to play this season will come Week 18 versus Miami.

Fotu has been on IR with a knee injury since Oct. 31, and the Jets opened his 21-day window to return to practice Wednesday. He was also a full participant during Wednesday's session, though it appears he'll need some more time before getting back to full game shape. Fotu's next opportunity to play will come Sunday, Dec. 29 versus Buffalo.

Fotu was placed on injured reserve Oct. 31 due to a knee injury, but he is progressing toward returning for Sunday's game against the Rams after logging a full practice Wednesday. Fotu has tallied three tackles (one solo) across two regular-season games.

Jets' Leki Fotu: Placed on IR with knee injury
The Jets placed Fotu (knee) on injured reserve Thursday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.
Fotu will be placed on injured reserve for a second time this season, this time due to a knee injury. He missed the first five games of the regular season due to a hamstring injury he sustained in training camp, but he was able to suit up for Weeks 6 and 7 and logged three tackles (one solo) over that span. His placement on IR means Fotu will have to miss at least the next four regular-season games, and the earliest he can return will be Week 14 against the Dolphins on Sunday, Dec. 8. In Fotu's absence, Leonard Taylor and Solomon Thomas will serve as the Jets' rotational defensive tackles behind starters Javon Kinlaw and Quinnen Williams.

Fotu (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday night's matchup against the Texans.
It's not surprising that Fotu will be sidelined Thursday night, as the 26-year-old defensive tackle didn't practice all week after missing the Jets' Week 8 loss to the Patriots due to a knee injury. Solomon Thomas is expected to see additional reps as a rotational defensive tackle with Fotu missing Week 9.

Fotu (knee) has been deemed out for Sunday's matchup against the Patriots, Eric Allen of the Jets' official site reports.
Fotu began the campaign on IR due to a hamstring injury but was able to return ahead of Week 6. However, the defensive lineman didn't practice at all this week, and he'll miss his sixth game of the season this Sunday. The Jets have a quick turnaround for Week 9 with a Thursday night game against Houston, so Fotu could be in danger of missing that contest as well.

Fotu has yet to play this season after sustaining a hamstring injury in late August, but it now appears he's moved past the issue enough to suit up Monday night. Expect Fotu to serve as a rotational defensive tackle against the Bills.
