  • Bradlee Anae: Reaches settlement with Niners

Anae (undisclosed) was released from injured reserve with an injury settlement by the 49ers on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The defensive end now has a chance to play in 2025 if he can catch on with another team, though his injury remains undisclosed. The 2020 fifth-round pick of the Cowboys last appeared in an NFL regular-season game in 2021. Anae has two career tackles across 11 regular-season contests.

  • 49ers' Bradlee Anae: Placed on IR

Anae (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve by the 49ers on Wednesday.

Anae signed with the 49ers on Aug. 4, but he now appears to have suffered an undisclosed injury, which is set to sideline him for the entirety of the 2025 campaign. The defensive end is eligible to return to action if he reaches an injury settlement with San Francisco, but otherwise he'll set his sights on the 2026 season.

  • Falcons' Bradlee Anae: Inks deal with Atlanta

Anae (undisclosed) has agreed to terms on a contract with the Falcons, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

This news comes less than 24 hours after Anae's tryout in Atlanta. His 2023 season came to an end early, as the Jets placed him on injured reserve nearly one year ago with an undisclosed injury presumably suffered during offseason workouts. The defensive end's addition to Atlanta's roster indicates his health is back up to par, so he will now compete for a role in the trenches.

  • Jets' Bradlee Anae: Moved to IR

The Jets placed Anae on IR with an undisclosed injury Thursday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.

Anae appears to have sustained an injury at some point during the Jets' voluntary OTA sessions. While the exact nature of this issue is unclear, the 25-year-old will now be forced to sit out the entirety of the 2023 campaign unless he is released with an injury settlement.

  • Cowboys' Bradlee Anae: Activated off COVID-19 list

Anae (illness) was activated off the Cowboys' reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.

After missing the Cowboys' previous two games while on the team's COVID-19 list, it seems that Anae is slated to make his return to the field Sunday against the Giants. The young defensive end has seen a minimal role so far this season especially since Chauncey Golston returned to take over the starting position in Week 3.

  • Cowboys' Bradlee Anae: Will miss second straight game

Anae (undisclosed) remains in COVID-19 protocols and will miss Sunday's contest against the Panthers, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Anae will miss his second straight contest after being placed in COVID-19 protocols on Sept. 24. The 22-year-old defensive end was playing a rotational role during the first two weeks of the season, but Chauncey Golston returned in Week 3 and accrued most of those snaps. Anae's next chance to suit up will be Oct. 10, when the Cowboys take on the Giants.

  • Cowboys' Bradlee Anae: Ruled out for MNF

Anae (undisclosed) won't play Monday against the Eagles, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

Anae remains on the reserve/COVID-19 list and won't dress for Monday's game. He'll set his sights on returning in Week 4 against the Panthers and reprising his role as a rotational option along Dallas' defensive line.

  • Cowboys' Bradlee Anae: Lands on COVID-19 list

Anae was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, Rob Phillips of the Cowboys' official site reports.

Anae was on the field for 31 defensive snaps in Sunday's Week 2 win over the Chargers, and he recorded a solo tackle. It's not yet clear whether the 2020 fifth-rounder has tested positive for the virus or if he's considered a close contact, but Azur Kamara will likely see a slight uptick in playing time if Anae is unavailable for Monday night's game against Philadelphia.
