Colts' Joe Bachie: Signs with Indianapolis
Bachie signed with the Colts on Wednesday, Joel Erickson of the team's official site reports.
Bachie has seemingly recovered from the groin injury that landed him on Cincinnati's injured reserve last December and will now head to Indianapolis. The 27-year-old racked up three tackles (three solo) across 12 games during the 2024 campaign as he saw the majority of his playing time on special teams and will likely have a similar role with the Colts.

Bengals' Joe Bachie: Out for rest of regular season
The Bengals placed Bachie (groin) on injured reserve Saturday.
Bachie suffered a groin injury against Dallas this past Monday, and head coach Zac Taylor said early this week he'd be out multiple games. That's now official, as Bachie will be required to sit out the remainder of the regular season while on IR. Bachie could theoretically return for the playoffs, but the Bengals are very unlikely to qualify given their current 5-8 record.

Bengals' Joe Bachie: Out again Week 15
Bachie (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's tilt against Tennessee.
Bachie hurt his groin on Monday Night Football against Dallas, and head coach Zac Taylor indicated Wednesday that the linebacker is facing a multi-game absence. As such, it's no surprise that Bachie has been deemed out ahead of Sunday's matchup. His absence will be felt primarily on special teams, as Bachie has logged just 33 defensive snaps over 12 games this season.

Bengals' Joe Bachie: In line for multi-game absence
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said Wednesday that Bachie is dealing with an adductor injury and is expected to miss multiple games, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Bachie seems like a potential candidate for injured reserve after getting hurt in Monday's win over the Cowboys. The 26-year-old linebacker has seen most of his playing time on special teams this season while totaling three tackles over 12 games.

Bengals' Joe Bachie: Injures groin on MNF
Bachie suffered a groin injury in Monday night's win over the Cowboys.
A reserve linebacker and special-teams contributor, Bachie didn't record any stats in the box score prior to his injury in the second half. He'd previously been dealing with a hip injury in recent weeks.

Bengals' Joe Bachie: Set for return Week 13
Bachie (hip) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's matchup against the Steelers.
Bachie missed Cincinnati's Week 11 loss to the Chargers due to a hip issue, but the team's Week 12 bye gave him the time to recover enough to return to the field. The veteran linebacker's presence would typically primarily impact the special-teams unit, as Bachie has logged just 18 defensive snaps over 10 games this season. However, he could be asked to step into a more significant role Sunday if Logan Wilson, who is questionable due to a knee injury, is unable to suit up.

Bengals' Joe Bachie: Won't suit up in Week 11
Bachie (hip) was downgraded to out for Sunday's matchup against the Chargers.
Bachie was initially deemed doubtful heading into the weekend, but he has since been ruled out for Sunday's contest. He's played a rotational role on defense throughout the campaign, topping out at seven defense snaps Week 9. As such, Bachie's absence Sunday will primarily impact the Bengals' special-teams unit.

Bengals' Joe Bachie: Doubtful for Sunday
Bachie (hip) is listed as doubtful ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Chargers, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Bachie appears to have sustained a hip injury in Cincinnati's Week 10 loss to the Ravens, and he's likely a longshot to play Sunday after logging three consecutive DNPs during the Bengals' week of practice. Undrafted rookie Maema Njongmeta could see increased work on Cincinnati's defense as a rotational linebacker if Bachie is sidelined in Week 11 as expected.

Bengals' Joe Bachie: Re-ups with Cincy
The Bengals re-signed Bachie to a one-year contract Monday.
Bachie entered the offseason as an unrestricted free agent, but he's now set to return to Cincinnati for a fourth straight campaign. He contributed almost exclusively on special teams last year across 16 regular-season games.
