Bills' Dawson Knox: Catches two passes vs. Patriots
Knox caught both of his targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Patriots.
Prior to Sunday night's loss, Knox hadn't caught a pass since the Bills' Week 2 win over the Jets. The veteran tight end from Ole Miss has primarily served as a blocker this season, catching six of 10 targets for 54 yards across Buffalo's first five games. He's expected to continue operating behind Dalton Kincaid in the Bills' Week 6 matchup against the Falcons.

Bills' Dawson Knox: No catches again Sunday
Knox failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 31-19 win over the Saints.
This is the second consecutive game in which Knox has failed to record a reception, despite logging 55 offensive snaps during that span. The Ole Miss product appears firmly behind Dalton Kincaid in Buffalo's tight-end room, as Kincaid has caught six of eight targets for 96 yards and two touchdowns over the last two weeks. Knox is likely to have a similar role in the Bills' Week 5 contest against the Patriots, serving primarily as a blocker rather than a receiving option.

Bills' Dawson Knox: Blanked in Week 3
Knox wasn't targeted during Thursday night's 31-21 win over the Dolphins.
After catching four of his seven targets for 39 yards over Buffalo's first two games this season, Knox wasn't involved in the offensive game plan in Week 3. His counterpart, Dalton Kincaid, was the Bills' most effective receiver Thursday, catching five of his six targets for 66 yards and one touchdown. Bills' Dawson Knox: Two grabs in Week 2
Knox caught two of five targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 30-10 win over the Jets.
Knox's five targets Sunday were second only to fellow tight end Dalton Kincaid, who saw six targets from quarterback Josh Allen. The 28-year-old Knox did play more offensive snaps, however, finishing with 41 snaps while Kincaid played 36 snaps. Despite the increased target share, Knox should not be considered for fantasy purposes as long as Kincaid is healthy. The Bills are set to host the Dolphins in Week 3.

The Bills limited Knox's activity level at Wednesday's practice and Thursday's walkthrough due to a hip injury, but a return to all activity Friday sets him up to be available for a Week 2 AFC East matchup. Knox played 57 percent of offensive snaps during Buffalo's 41-40 win over the Ravens in Week 1, securing both of his targets for 20 yards. He ran just 17 routes, though, while starting tight end Dalton Kincaid ran 28 routes and brought in all of his targets for a 4-48-1 receiving line. Knox will figure to handle a similar complementary role behind Kincaid if he's able to gain clearance in time for Sunday's road matchup against the Jets.

After missing the start of training camp, this marks the first practice for Knox since he came off the active/non-football injury list, per Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News.
