Eagles' Saquon Barkley: Believes he'll be available after bye
Barkley (groin) was confident following Sunday's 38-20 win against the Giants that he'll be available for the Eagles' next game Monday, Nov. 10 at Green Bay, Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia reports.
When Barkley exited late in the third quarter after a 28-yard run with what eventually was termed a groin injury, the Eagles were up 24-13 on the Giants and proceeded to extend the lead to 18 points by the end of that drive. He added afterward that he likely could have remained in the contest if the score was ever in doubt down the stretch, per Tim McManus of ESPN.com. The Eagles have a Week 9 bye on tap, so he'll have time to recuperate before the Week 10 showdown against the Packers after finishing Week 8 with 18 touches for 174 yards from scrimmage and two total TDs. It should be noted that reserve RB Tank Bigsby reeled off 104 yards on nine rushes by game's end, indicating he's currently the next player up if Barkley needs to miss any time.

Eagles' Saquon Barkley: Dealing with groin injury
Barkley suffered a groin injury during Sunday's game against the Giants.
Barkley pulled up at the end of a 28-yard run near the end of the third quarter, after which he visited the sideline tent before the Eagles disclosed the nature of his injury. If he's unable to return, he'll finish Week 8 with 14 carries for 150 yards and one touchdown and four catches (on five targets) for 24 yards and another TD. Tank Bigsby took over most of the RB duties following Barkley's departure.

Eagles' Saquon Barkley: Another frustrating day Sunday
Barkley rushed 18 times for 44 yards and brought in his only target for minus-2 yards in the Eagles' 28-22 win over the Vikings on Sunday.
In addition to being stymied on the ground yet again, Barkley also suffered an injury scare when he exited the game briefly in the second half to be evaluated for a concussion. Barkley eventually returned to the contest, but he finished with under 60 rushing yards for the fifth straight game. Barkley had a long run of just nine yards as well, and the inefficient afternoon was especially disappointing considering he quickly netted 16 yards on his first three carries during the Eagles' opening drive. The 2018 first-round pick will look for a resurgent outing at the expense of his former Giants squad in a Week 8 divisional clash next Sunday afternoon.
