Bengals' Logan Wilson: Doubtful for Sunday
Wilson (calf) is listed as doubtful ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Bears, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
The veteran linebacker from Wyoming didn't practice all week due to a calf injury and is now expected to miss his first game of the season Sunday. With both Wilson and Oren Burks (groin, questionable) dealing with injuries ahead of the Week 9 matchup, Joe Giles-Harris is expected to have a larger role in Cincinnati's inside-linebacker corps.

Bengals' Logan Wilson: Remains sidelined Thursday
Wilson (calf) remained a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Wilson hasn't missed a game this season, but he's in danger of being absent for Sunday's game against the Bears. His absence from practice could be linked to the linebacker's recent trade request, as the Nov. 4 trade deadline is fast approaching.

Bengals' Logan Wilson: Working through calf injury
Wilson did not participate in Wednesday's practice due to a calf injury, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Wilson may have picked up the injury during the Bengals' Week 8 loss against the Jets, when he logged five tackles (two solo). However, his omission from Wednesday's practice could also be due to the trade request he made this past Thursday after seeing his playing time on defense dip significantly in Weeks 6 and 7. Wilson's practice participation over the next two days will be worth monitoring ahead of Sunday's game against the Bears.

Bengals' Logan Wilson: Requests trade from Cincinnati
Wilson requested a trade from the Bengals on Thursday, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Wilson has started all seven games to this point in the season, but he's been a starter in name only for Cincinnati, as he's logged just 19.7 and 45.6 percent of the defensive snaps in each of the past two contests. The Bengals have moved in the direction of rookies Barrett Carter and Demetrius Knight at linebacker. With Wilson's playing time fading, he's looking for a new opportunity elsewhere. Wilson is signed through the 2027 season.

Wilson was benched in favor of rookie Barrett Carter in Sunday's loss to the Packers, Charlie's Chalkboard reports. Wilson still managed four tackles in the snaps he did play.
Wilson struggled, especially in coverage, last week against the Lions, and the Bengals decided to turn to Carter full-time instead. Barring an injury to Carter or fellow rookie Demetrius Knight, this appears to be a full-time change.
