Ferguson (personal) was designated to return from the reserve/non-football illness list Wednesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Ferguson has been on the list since Oct. 19, but it appears his time there may be ending soon. He'll now have a 21-day window to practice with the team before needing to be placed on the active roster, which could happen in time to return Sunday against the Jets.

The Dolphins placed Ferguson (personal) on the reserve/non-football illnes list Saturday, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
Ferguson will be forced to miss at least the next four regular-season games, and the earliest he can return is Week 11 against the Raiders on Nov. 17. The Dolphins signed long snapper Matt Overton to the practice squad Saturday, and he has been elevated to the active roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Colts.
