Ben DiNucci: Cut by Falcons
Atlanta waived DiNucci on Saturday, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports.
DiNucci had been a longshot to make the Falcons' initial 53-man roster since Michael Penix, Kirk Cousins and Easton Stick opened camp ahead of him on the QB depth chart. The 2020 seventh-round draft pick hasn't played in an NFL regular-season game since 2020, when he got into three contests with the Cowboys.

Falcons' Ben DiNucci: Signs with Atlanta
The Falcons signed DiNucci on Monday, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
In a corresponding move, Atlanta waived fellow QB Emory Jones (concussion) with an injury designation. DiNucci figures to see action in the final preseason contest but isn't a good bet to make the 53-man roster behind Michael Penix, Kirk Cousins and Easton Stick.

Ben DiNucci: Cut by New Orleans
DiNucci was waived by the Saints on Tuesday, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.
DiNucci signed a reserve/future contract with the Saints in January, but with the team selecting Tyler Shough in the second round of last week's 2025 NFL Draft, DiNucci is the odd man out. The quarterback last appeared in an NFL contest in 2020 with the Cowboys and he'll likely have to settle for a practice squad spot to open the 2025 season.

Saints' Ben DiNucci: Staying in NOLA
The Saints signed DiNucci to a reserve/future contract Monday.
DiNucci spent most of the 2024 regular season without a team after being cut by the Bills at the end of training camp in late August, but he managed to catch on with the Saints' practice squad Dec. 10. He hasn't seen regular-season action since 2020 with the Cowboys, but he put together a successful 2023 XFL campaign with the Seattle Sea Dragons and will have a chance to earn a spot on New Orleans' roster during training camp next summer.

Ben DiNucci: Joins New Orleans
DiNucci signed to the Saints' practice squad Tuesday, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.
The quarterback was waived by the Bills in August after trying to win the third QB job behind Josh Allen and Mitchell Trubisky. DiNucci spent 2023 on Denver's practice squad but did not appear in a regular-season game. New Orleans starter Derek Carr is week-to-week with a hand fracture, but he also has two healthy backups in Jake Haener and Spencer Rattler.

Bills' Ben DiNucci: Brought in by Buffalo
The Bills signed DiNucci on Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
With Shane Buechele set to miss extended time due to a neck injury he sustained in Saturday's preseason loss to the Bears, the Bills will bring in DiNucci to serve as the third quarterback behind Josh Allen and Mitch Trubisky.
