Sheldrick Redwine: Won't make roster
Redwine (hamstring) was cut by Dallas on Tuesday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Redwine suffered a hamstring injury during the team's preseason finale against Seattle, but it seems as if he's had time to move past the issue. The 26-year-old has spent four years in the NFL, appearing in a total of 33 games for Cleveland, Miami and New York before signing with Dallas this offseason. He'll now be forced to look for a new home ahead of the coming season.

Cowboys' Sheldrick Redwine: Suffers injury
Redwine left Saturday's preseason game against the Seahawks early with a hamstring injury. Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Redwine's injury details are unclear, so it's hard to say how much time he could miss. The veteran safety was working to earn a spot on the team's 53-man roster, so it'll be important for him to recover quickly and get back on the field.

Dolphins' Sheldrick Redwine: Re-signed by Miami
Redwine re-signed Wednesday with the Dolphins on a one-year contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN Schefter reports.
Redwine appeared in four games with the Dolphins last season, in addition to two games with the Jets. He'll compete for a depth role at safety and on special teams heading into the 2022 campaign.

Dolphins' Sheldrick Redwine: Removed from COVID-19 list
Redwine (undisclosed) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday.
Redwine missed the Dolphins' final two games of the season after landing in COVID-19 protocols Jan. 1. The 25-year-old made two appearances with the Jets before being waived in mid-November and eventually latched on with Miami. However, between the two teams, he totaled eight tackles across six games and mostly operated on special teams.

Redwine has been on the active roster for each of the Dolphins' last three games after starting the season with the Jets. Mostly contributing on special teams, Redwine has seven tackles (five solo) on the season across five games. Whether or not this move is related to the future status of starting free safety Jevon Holland (illness) is not yet known.

Redwine missed the Dolphins' Week 8 game against the Bills after having just signed with the Dolphins' active roster from the Panthers' practice squad Oct. 25. Before joining the Panthers, Redwine appeared in the Jets' first two games of the season, netting six tackles (four solo). He'll look to make his Miami debut in Week 9 against the Texans.
