Foxx was waived by the Jets on Monday.
Foxx, who was re-signed to the Jets in May after getting waived weeks earlier, was competing for a depth role at receiver. While he's now free to sign elsewhere, the fact he twice failed to stick on a depth chart barren of proven talent doesn't bode well for future success.

Foxx was waived by the Jets on Tuesday.
Foxx was released with an injury designation by the Seahawks in August. He then signed with the Jets following the conclusion of the 2017 regular season. However, the team has opted to waive him in favor of receiver KD Cannon. The UConn product will look for an opportunity with a different team to make his NFL debut in the upcoming season.

Foxx signed a future/reserve contract with the Jets on Tuesday, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports.
Foxx was released by the Seahawks prior to the beginning of the regular season due to a hamstring injury and spent the entire season in free agency. He'll now look to solidify himself as a depth option for the Jets throughout the offseason in the hopes of claiming a spot on the 53-man roster next year.
