Dunbar was cut from the Packers' practice squad Tuesday.
Dunbar was signed to Green Bay's practice squad Oct. 12 and has also spent time in Arizona this season. He has yet to appear in a game during the 2021 campaign.

Quinton Dunbar: Cut by Cardinals
Dunbar was released from Arizona's practice squad Tuesday.
The cornerback signed with the Cardinals on Sept. 28 following his release from the Lions. He was expected to contribute to the team's secondary but that didn't materialize. Dunbar will look for another suitor for his services in 2021.

Quinton Dunbar: Lands in Arizona
Dunbar signed a deal to join the Cardinals' practice squad Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Dunbar signed with the Lions this offseason but was released during training camp. Prior to signing with Arizona, Dunbar also worked out with the Bills. While it may take some time for him to get acclimated to his new team, Dunbar should be expected to join the active roster at some point in the coming weeks. He could provide solid play in the secondary, as he picked off four passes in 2019 across only 11 games.

The Lions will cut Dunbar on Thursday, NFL reporter Josina Anderson reports
Dunbar signed a one-year deal with the Lions back in April, and he reportedly saw some first-team reps during June minicamp, but he'll now have to look for a role elsewhere in the league. The 29-year-old managed five pass breakups and an interception in just six appearances with Seattle last season.

Lions' Quinton Dunbar: Earning first team reps
Dunbar (knee) rotated first-team reps opposite Jeff Okudah with Amani Oruwariye during mandatory minicamp, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.
Dunbar underwent surgery toward the end of the 2020 season, but that didn't stop the Lions from signing him to a one-year deal in April. He appeared to be fully healthy in minicamp and earned some strong reviews for his play. Whether or not he'll have a starting role opposite Okudah remains undecided, but he should have a significant role in the secondary regardless. In only six contests last season, Dunbar managed five passes defensed and one interception with Seattle.

Lions' Quinton Dunbar: Inks deal with Detroit
Dunbar (knee) signed a one-year contract with the Lions on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Dunbar was unable to finish the 2020 season after suffering a knee injury that required surgery, but the hope is that he'll be at full strength for the start of the upcoming campaign. The Florida product collected 30 tackles (28 solo), five passes defensed and one interception over six contests with Seattle prior to being shut down. He figures to slot in as one of Detroit's top corners in 2021.

Seahawks' Quinton Dunbar: Undergoes successful surgery
Dunbar had successful knee surgery Tuesday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Dunbar won't return this season and will begin rehabbing in the near future. It remains unclear exactly what Dunbar was dealing with, as coach Pete Carroll merely stated that it was a "chronic knee issue." Dunbar finished the 2020 season with 30 tackles, five pass breakups and an interception over six games, all while allowing a 111.0 passer rating when targeted in coverage. The 28-year-old cornerback will be an unrestricted free agent in March.

Seahawks' Quinton Dunbar: Coach reveals injury details
Seahawks defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr. says "It's obvious" Dunbar (knee) was not 100 percent healthy when he joined the Seahawks for in-person activities in August, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Dunbar was coming off a tremendous 2019 campaign with Washington when Seattle acquired him for a fifth-round pick in March, surrendering a meager 61.2 passer rating in coverage while recording four interceptions during his final season as a member of the team. The 28-year-old had not been as effective in his debut campaign with the Seahawks, surrendering a 111.0 passer rating with four passing touchdowns allowed and just one forced INT over six appearances. Now, he's been shut down for the season, with coach Pete Carroll confirming Wednesday that Dunbar will not return from his knee injury after landing on injured reserve Nov. 19.

Seahawks' Quinton Dunbar: May require offseason surgery
Coach Pete Carroll said Monday that Dunbar may need offseason knee surgery, but he'll try to play through his issues this season, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Dunbar is battling a chronic knee issue that has bothered him for months now, but Carroll believes he can play through the injury this season. The 28-year-old cornerback has been practicing with the team for nearly two weeks, and he's aiming to return to the lineup in Week 16 against the Rams. It's possible that the Seahawks don't thrust Dunbar into a starting role upon return in order to minimize the wear and tear on his knee. That notion receives further credence after Carroll stated Sunday that cornerback D.J. Reed "deserves to keep playing" after looking impressive in place of Dunbar, according to Condotta.
