Darius Kilgo: Cleared from virus list
The Broncos activated Kilgo from the practice squad COVID-19 list Wednesday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Kilgo was placed on the list Dec. 3, but it was unclear whether he tested positive for the virus or came into close contact with someone who did. In either case, Kilgo will return to the practice squad hoping to earn the call to a 53-man roster this season.

The Broncos placed Kilgo (undisclosed) on the practice squad reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
The Broncos aren't able to disclose whether Kilgo has tested positive for COVID-19 or simply come into close contact with someone who has. Whatever the case, the nose tackle will need to attain full clearance before being allowed to rejoin teammates.

Kilgo was medically cleared after recovering from a torn quadriceps early in August. The 28-year-old nose tackle will seek to play his first NFL game since notching five tackles over 11 contests with the Titans in 2018.

Kilgo was claimed off waivers by the Patriots on Monday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post reports.
After playing in nine games for the Broncos this season the team opted to waive him prior to Week 12. Kilgo figures to help provide depth on the defensive line for the Patriots. Rookie D.J. Foster was waived to make room in a corresponding roster move.
