Andre Dillard: Gets look from Niners
The 49ers hosted Dillard (ankle) for a workout Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Dillard appears to have fully recovered from a procedure on his ankle that he underwent during the offseason. He appeared in 10 regular-season games for the Packers in 2024 and made his last start in 2023 as a member of the Titans.

Andre Dillard: Bound for free agency
San Francisco released Dillard (ankle) with an injury settlement Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Dillard had surgery during the offseason to address an ankle issue, but his recovery wasn't going very smoothly, so he was placed on the 49ers' injured-reserve list late in training camp. Now, thanks to the negotiated injury settlement, he won't have to spend the entire 2025 season there and will be free to sign with another team once healthy.

49ers' Andre Dillard: Lands on injured reserve
Dillard (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Thursday.
According to Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area, Dillard had offseason ankle surgery and began training camp on the active/PUP list before being activated Monday, but his ankle hasn't responded well to the last few days of practice. The 2019 first-round pick has appeared in 69 regular-season games over his six year career, spending last year in Green Bay. He signed a one-year, $1.17 million contract with San Francisco in May and was expected to be the team's swing tackle behind Trent Williams and Colton McKivitz.

49ers' Andre Dillard: Lands on PUP
Dillard (undisclosed) was placed on the active/PUP list Friday.
Dillard dealt with a concussion to close the 2024 season, though there's no reason to believe that is a lingering concern. Nevertheless, he'll begin training camp sidelined as he competes for a depth role along the 49ers' offensive line.

49ers' Andre Dillard: Links up with 49ers
The 49ers signed Dillard (concussion) on Friday, Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Dillard was unable to suit up for the Packers' NFC wild-card loss to the Eagles due to a concussion, but his signing with the 49ers on Friday suggests he's since moved past the issue. Now in San Francisco, Dillard is expected to compete for a depth spot on the team's offensive line throughout the summer.

Dillard (concussion) is inactive for Sunday's NFC wild-card game against the Eagles, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
Dillard wasn't active for the Packers' regular-season finale against the Bears due to a concussion. He was a full participant in Friday's practice, but he wasn't able to clear the league's five-step concussion protocol ahead of Sunday's playoff opener. Kadeem Telfort and Travis Glover will serve as the Packers' backup offensive tackles behind starters Rasheed Walker and Zach Tom due to Dillard's absence.
