Ty Summers: Works out for Minnesota
Summers (undisclosed) worked out for the Vikings on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Summers was placed on injured reserve by the Giants last month and was released with an injury settlement Aug. 6. His workout with Minnesota would suggest Summers is healthy. Summers appeared in 16 regular-season games for the G-Men last season, logging 29 tackles (13 solo) while mainly playing special teams.
