Seahawks' Jarran Reed: Staying in Seattle
Reed agreed to a three-year deal worth up to $25 million with the Seahawks on Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Reed, currently in his second stint with the Seahawks, is coming off a two-year deal with the team and likely would have been one of the top available defensive ends if he had hit the open market this offseason. The 32-year-old tallied 45 tackles and 4.5 sacks over 17 regular-season games in 2024, and he recorded seven sacks in 2023. With few signs of slowing down, Reed should continue to serve as one of the primary starters in Seattle's defensive front.

Seahawks' Jarran Reed: Solid production in 2024
Reed finished the 2024 season with 45 total tackles (21 solo), including 4.5 sacks, while also adding two passes defensed and a forced fumble over 17 games.
Reed was able to maintain a high level of play in 2024, reaching at least 43 tackles for the fourth straight year. The 32-year-old is an unrestricted free agent heading into the offseason, and he'll likely have plenty of interested suitors ahead of 2025.

Seahawks' Jarran Reed: Performs well in Week 16
Reed recorded four total tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sacks, and defended one pass in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Vikings.
Reed sacked Sam Darnold and forced a fumble in the second quarter of the Week 16 loss, though Darnold recovered the loose ball. The veteran interior defensive lineman logged his first full sack since the Seahawks' Week 4 loss to the Lions, bringing his season totals to 43 tackles, including 3.5 sacks, and two passes defended over 15 games. Expect Reed to remain an integral part of the Seahawks' defensive line as the season winds down.
