Landry totaled six tackles (two solo) and forced a fumble in Sunday's loss to Pittsburgh.
Landry didn't record a sack for the first time this season, but he finished second on New England in tackles behind Robert Spillane (15). Landry didn't practice Wednesday, so to upgrade to limited reps Thursday is a step in the right direction. He impressed in his New England debut Week 1, tallying 2.5 sacks versus the Raiders, and now faces a juicy Week 2 divisional matchup on the road against Tua Tagovailoa and a Dolphins team fresh off surrendering three sacks to the Colts. As long as Landry is able to handle at least limited reps again Friday, he figures to have a chance at being cleared to play Sunday.

Landry recorded 2.5 sacks in his Patriots debut in Week 1, but his status for Week 2 is now in question due to a foot issue he presumably picked up sometime during that game. He'll likely need to practice in some capacity Thursday or Friday to have a chance to suit up Sunday at Miami.

Patriots' Harold Landry: Impressive outing in Patriots debut
Landry recorded five total tackles (four solo), including 2.5 sacks, in Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Patriots.
Landry inked a three-year, $43.5 million deal with the Patriots in March after spending the first six years of his career with the Titans. He thoroughly impressed playing under head coach Mike Vrabel once again, notching an NFL-leading 2.5 sacks in Week 1. The Patriots sorely missed a consistent pass-rush threat after trading Matthew Judon prior to last season, finishing last in the NFL with 28 sacks. Landry appears to be the missing piece to New England's pass-rush unit, and he'll look to continue getting after the quarterback in Week 2 against the Dolphins.
