  • Seahawks' Ty Scott: Inks deal with Seattle

The Seahawks signed Scott on Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Scott spent time with Kansas City after going undrafted in 2023, but it now seems that he's found a new home in Seattle. The Missouri State product posted 1,784 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns over his last two seasons in college before posting a 25-418-3 line for the UFL's D.C. Defenders this past spring. Scott will likely be fighting to make the Seahawks' roster as a depth piece in the team's wide receiver room as the offseason progresses.

  • Ty Scott: Let go in final roster cuts

The Chiefs waived Scott on Tuesday.

Scott initially signed with Kansas City as an undrafted free agent on May 8, but he was waived following the team's rookie minicamp. The Missouri product rejoined the team in late July after veteran wide receiver John Ross was placed on the reserve/retired list. However, it appears he still couldn't crack the team's wide receiver corps. Should he go unclaimed on waivers, Scott will become an unrestricted free agent heading into the regular season.

  • Chiefs' Ty Scott: Returns to Kansas City

Scott signed with the Chiefs on Friday, Matt McMullen of the team's official site reports.

The move coincides with the Chiefs placing wide receiver John Ross on the reserve/retired list Wednesday. This is Scott's second stint with Kansas City this offseason, having previously signed as an undrafted free agent in May before being waived a week later after rookie minicamp. He'll have another opportunity to prove himself as he competes for a depth spot on the Chiefs' wide receiver corps.

  • Ty Scott: Waived by Kansas City

The Chiefs waived Scott on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Scott signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent, but he's been let go following the team's rookie minicamp. After catching 66 passes for 1,110 yards and eight touchdowns for Missouri State in 2021, he posted just 48 receptions for 674 yards and five scores in 2022.
