Panthers' Zach Moore: Joins Panthers
Moore was signed to the Panthers' 53-man roster Saturday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Moore had been residing on the team's practice squad so far this season. The 27-year-old takes the roster spot of offensive lineman John Theus (concussion), who was placed on injured reserve, and should serve as a depth option on the defensive line.

Panthers' Zach Moore: Claimed off waivers by Carolina
The Panthers claimed Moore off waivers Wednesday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Moore will be entering his fourth year in the NFL, but he's logged a total of just three tackles in his career, all of which came in 2014 with the Patriots. After relatively unsuccessful stints with the Cowboys and most recently, the 49ers, Moore will now head to the Panthers, where he'll have a shot to battle for a roster spot during training camp.

Moore was cut by the 49ers on Tuesday, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Moore spent time with the Cowboys and 49ers last season but has yet to play in an NFL game since 2014. He will need to impress in training camp and the preseason in order to make an NFL regular-season roster.
