Cardinals' Will Hernandez: Re-ups with Arizona for one year
Hernandez (knee) signed a one-year contract with the Cardinals on Thursday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Hernandez is back in Arizona, where he started 35 regular-season games from 2022 through 2024 before tearing his ACL in Week 5 of the 2024 season. The team is encouraged with his rehab from the knee injury but a clear return timeline for Hernandez has yet to be established. He will begin his latest tenure with the team on the active/PUP list, per Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com.

Will Hernandez: Visits with Arizona
Hernandez (knee) visited the Cardinals on Monday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Hernandez spent the previous three seasons in the desert with the Cardinals, starting all 35 regular-season games in which he appeared before tearing his ACL in Week 5 last season. It's unclear if Hernandez is 100 percent healthy, but he should be nearing a return to the field nearly 10 months after the injury.

Cardinals' Will Hernandez: Wants to stick in Arizona
Hernandez (knee), who is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, said Wednesday that he "would love" to re-sign with the Cardinals, Jess Root of USA Today reports.
Hernandez only suited up for five games in 2024 before landing on injured reserve due to a season-ending knee injury. The 29-year-old said that his main focus is on "getting this knee back to back to 100 percent, which is exactly what's happening." Hernandez will hit free agency if he and the Cardinals aren't able to agree to terms on a new deal prior to the start of the new league year March 10.
