Vikings' Aaron Jones: Gets 19 touches in Week 11 loss
Jones rushed 16 times for 70 yards and caught three of six targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Bears.
Jones finished with a 19-6 edge in touches over Jordan Mason, but Mason scored a 16-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter. Jones just missed scoring a touchdown of his own in the first quarter but failed to come down with a bobbling catch attempt on an acrobatic effort in the end zone. Heading into a Week 12 road game against his former team in Green Bay, Jones has reestablished himself as the top option in Minnesota's backfield.

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Good to go
Jones (shoulder/toe) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's matchup with the Bears, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Jones played through the same two injuries during last week's 27-19 loss to Baltimore, taking 72 percent of offensive snaps while turning 15 touches into 69 yards and a TD. He handled a similar portion of Minnesota's backfield work a week earlier in the upset win over Detroit, prior to exiting in the second half with an AC joint sprain. The shoulder injury may continue to limit his practice reps some, but Jones did manage a full session Friday to close out the week, suggesting he's all systems go for a home game against the Bears.

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Limited again Thursday
Jones (shoulder/toe) was a limited participant in practice Thursday.
Jones has now logged back-to-back limited practices to begin Week 11 preparations as he continues to nurse a toe injury and an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder. He played through both injuries Week 10 against the Ravens, carrying the ball nine times for 47 yards and a score while securing three of six targets for 22 yards, so as long as he's able to practice on at least a limited basis again Friday, it seems Jones has solid odds of being cleared for Sunday's divisional matchup against the Bears.

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Remains limited in practice
Jones (shoulder/toe) was limited at practice Wednesday.
Jones is dealing with an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder and also a toe injury for a second week in a row, but he was able to play through them this past Sunday against the Ravens and turn 12 touches into 69 yards from scrimmage and one TD. Meanwhile, Jordan Mason played second fiddle to Jones en route to five touches for 31 total yards. Friday's injury report will reveal whether or not Jones again enters the weekend with a designation ahead of Sunday's game versus the Bears.

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Scores first TD of 2025
Jones rushed the ball nine times for 47 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-19 loss to the Ravens. He added three receptions on six targets for 22 yards.
Jones' line doesn't stand out on the surface, but he served as Minnesota's clear lead back -- a departure from the split the Vikings have used to this point in the season. He out-touched Jordan Mason 12-5 for the game, which included the majority of targets and the team's lone running back touch at the goal line. Jones took advantage of the latter opportunity by punching in a four-yard touchdown for his first trip to the end zone this season. The Vikings were forced to utilize a pass-heavy offense while chasing the score, but Jones could be in line for heavier workloads moving forward.

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Active Sunday
Jones (shoulder/toe) is active for Sunday's game against the Ravens.
Jones emerged from last Sunday's win in Detroit with an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder, which, along with a toe injury, led to a DNP/LP/LP practice regimen. While the Vikings listed him as questionable for Week 10 action, he told Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com on Friday that "I still have two days, so I feel like I'll be in a good spot" by Sunday. With his active status now confirmed, Jones will continue to split the backfield with Jordan Mason, which has amounted to 18 touches for 138 yards from scrimmage and no touchdowns for Jones over the past two contests (as opposed to Mason's 16 touches for 43 total yards and no TDs during that same span).
