Steelers' Chuck Clark: Headed to Steel City
The Steelers signed Clark (undisclosed) to a contract Friday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Clark played in 12 regular-season games for the Jets in 2024, finishing with 69 tackles (38 solo), including 1.0 sacks, two pass defenses, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery before ending the year on injured reserve due to an undisclosed issue. The veteran safety, who spent the first six years of his NFL career with the Ravens, will return to the AFC North as a member of the Steelers, where he is expected to provide depth in the secondary.

Jets' Chuck Clark: Season officially over
The Jets placed Clark (undisclosed) on injured reserve Tuesday, Ethan Greenberg and John Pullano of the team's official site report.
This was as an anticipated move, as word arose Monday that New York was set to put Clark on IR. It's still not clear what type of issue the veteran safety is dealing with, but he had logged 100 percent of the Jets' defensive snaps each of the past three weeks. Clark's absence could provide an opportunity for Ashtyn Davis to start in Week 18 against Miami on Sunday.

Jets' Chuck Clark: Surprise addition to IR
The Jets are expected to place Clark on injured reserve Monday with an unspecified injury, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Clark played every defensive snap for the Jets in the Week 17 loss to the Bills, but he seems to have gotten hurt at some point along the way. The 29-year-old will finish the 2024 campaign with 69 tackles, two pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one sack over his 12 appearances.

Jets' Chuck Clark: Gets season-high tackle total
Clark recorded eight tackles (three solo) during Sunday's 40-14 loss at Buffalo.
Clark played all 62 of the Jets' defensive snaps in Week 17, and he came away with his best tackle total of the year. He has also now recorded seven-plus tackles in four consecutive games, a streak he'll be looking to extend in Week 18 versus the Dolphins.
